Zindagi aur Dard!! Poems 2nd updated

Hi all

Sayli here hope some of you still remember me.

I have written a chota sa poem. Filled with anguish and pain. So you all are warned to not read if you can't take it.

I have written this on another forum thought to share with all of you and especially Garu di and Mahishee!

Hope you like it.

Dard aur ghum ko chupate chupate thak gayi hoon

Jhooti khushi dikhane ki aadat si hogayi hai

Dard hokar bhi aankhon se aasu nikal nahi paate

Aankhen sukh gayi hai

Rona chahun toh bhi roh nahi paati

Aur kitne dino tak logon ko dikhana padhegi meri jhooti khushi

Aur kitne dino tak chipane padenge ye aasu

Aur kitne dino tak yeh dard, yeh ghum, yeh pidha sehni padegi

Aur kitne dino tak dum ghut ke jeena padega

Yeh toh ab baghwan hi jaane

Maut ke intezar mai kaat rahi hoon zindagi

Zindagi jeene ki chah toh kab ki kho chuki hai

Dard ki aadat ho gayi par phir bhi saha nahi jaata

Khushiyon se toh ab ghabrahat hone lagi

Kahi khushi ke baad phirse ghum aur dukh ke badal naa chah jaye

Lekin phir bhi jee rahi hoon har roj thoda thoda maar ke

Its such a pleasure to see you! Dil khush kar ditta!

And this poem... Uff. So painful. Reminds me of the song 'Zindagi Kahan Kahan Se... Guzarti Chali Gayi, Main Sochti Rahi, Sochti Hi Reh Gayi', from Ek Duje Ke Vaaste.

But the end was fantastically penned!

Life must go on.

Glad you liked the end it was my favourite part too while writing.

I don't know what has gotten into me but all of a sudden I'm on a writing spree where my mind is spinning many new poems.

This one is about a soul sister calling out to her soul sister who are best friends!

Hope you all like it!

Can you hear me?!

Can you see me?!

Look I'm crying!

Listen carefully I'm screaming out in pain!

Where are you?

Where are you when I need you the most?

Don't you remember our promise to always be with eachother in happiness and sorrow?!

Don't you remember me being with you always?

Don't you remember me helping you out in completing your assignments?

Don't you remember me explaining you difficult concepts?

Don't you remember my staying up till late night before the exam explaining the syllabus to you on the phone keeping my study aside?

Don't you remember when I helped you out when you forgot to bring your wallet?

Don't you remember me sharing my tiffen with you when you couldn't get your own?

Don't you remember me bringing extra food for you always?

Don't you remember our promise to never break our friendship come what may?

A friendship we promised to keep till death does us apart?

Don't you remember?!

Don't you remember me?!

Where are you now?

I need you to hold me!

To soothe me!

To tell me that we'll always be with each other!

I can't tell my parents because you know they'll break seeing me dying everyday!

Hold me!

Come back!

I'm dying everyday!

I need you to help me stand back up on my feet.

Where are you??

Listen I'm calling out to you!!

Come back and defend me from everybody that is blaming me!

Come back and punish the girl that broke your soul sister's trust!

Come back and listen to me crying and screaming!

Come back and see me hiding from everybody!

Come back and remove this mask of happiness from my face...

And let me cry till my eyes get swollen and my tears dry out!

Come back!!

It's one soul sister calling out to her other soul sister!!

You're going great Sayli. The next time, try to rhyme, to bring out the real poetic effect.

If I'll start, I'll end up rhyming this entire verse.😆
