When I Need You The Most
A few days back,
More like years
I felt you carve your
Place into my heart.
So I relive it
Sunny and blithe.
I know I had
Ditched you,
Gave you pain, forced,
Separation and helplessness.
So I relive it
Blows and stings.
We met again
You came back home
Ready we are
To face what comes ahead.
So I relive it
Forgiveness and respite.
And now when
Time tests me again
A mighty enemy, blurred future
Responsibility and faith
Of those thousands behind me
Of security and sincerity I ask.
No other day I felt it the most
Of your part in my life
There's one thing only
Which comes to my mind
I need you by my side.
Forever.
