title: Akbar vs Akbar's ego and cat and mouse games!

so today was more of Akbar vs himself- meaning he wants to prove himself by winning Chittod!

on the other hand, Pratap is saying that he will not let akbar take the fort!

you see how akbar uses strategy to fight, making sure how far his soldiers can stand without being killed!

I mean it was really nice to see Pratap and his ministers crying Jai Ek Lingji and all, they were a fight but it was more like a cat and mouse game to me than anything else, akbar is trying to see what can be done to annoy Pratap and get away with it!

Pratap wants maximum deaths of mughal soldiers, you see that with rajput mentality, that you should want the enemy to get away with least victory as possible, hence the burning of the grains, fields, killing livestock so that the enemy doesnt get them! its essentially a tactic of survival of the fittest but they also think that if they die they wont the enemy live for too long either!

In comparison, akbar uses mental tactics and force to get his way and survive! sitting outside that enormous fort is a psychological warfare of sorts!

Akbar is waiting for news on US and if he is caught or not!

precap- Akbar attacks at night- big no no from me!!!

today had action but story didnt progress too much but it was nice to see our veer mantris and soldiers in action!

btw those who have not see my latest addition to the comic corner do check it out here:

Rati,

Most of the attacks happened at night only.
The breaches to the Fort were made mostly at night.!
I am ready for some of the most dreaded scenes to come.

Though, there is a lot of hue and cry about this show right now, i see many articles coming regarding the siege and Akbar, but I am sure, the makers will not DESIST to show what REALLY happened at Chittor..

Thanks for analysis.!

Thanks Rati.

Akbar vs Akbar - nothing new. I think they are overdoing it. Akbar definitely was not this dumb else he could not have ruled over such a big kingdom. The CVs should think a bit. I would have been happy if they showed Akbar as a strong person and still Pratap fought him, than this psycho Akbar.

I have not been getting time to watch the shows:-( Quite a backlog now. But will catch sometime soon. The war track is something I do not want to miss.

Hi Abhay!

that makes sense, afterall mughals are not rajput who follow a code! I am dreading it but I will watch it!
Im glad that makers will show as it is, even if there is pressure from third parties, afterall its history and history should not be sugar-coated, you have to accept it and learn from it!

you're welcome!

So it was all night time breaches. Sad. And the Mewaris were prep for it? Or was it a surprise? Can you throw some light in the night time war reasons, how both parties handled it etc.?

And Abhay, did Akbar really chase US as per history? Bcos my understanding is all the other forts were attacked simultaneously so that the Rajput forces were scattered. And these attacks were part of the strategy and happened from the beginning.

Btw, I am not liking the wAy they are depicting the war. I would like more substance. There is so much history in this, and showing as is would be more thrilling. The current rating itself indicates how this important track is bring messed up. Ideally none of the episode should be boring, but gripping instead. I had a lot of hope on this PH for this track. See, it's not like I have to see these episodes now... That is my interest levels also, thanks to the CVs. When the track started the rating shot up, but in the prime of the track it has dipped pathetically - shows the messing around.
