Loved your interpretation of this episode. You are right in saying that "Pratap was an ascetic for his nation". He spent so many years in the forests. And even after he won back most of his land, towards the later part of his life, he lived in a hut, not in the palace.

Also, I would have to agree with your take on Pratap's influence on Jallal, It stands to reason that Jallal would have been influenced by Pratap's devotion to his motherland and his character.

Rati, very nice analysis. Your point on Pratap being ascetic is so pertinent. He has literally renounced everything, just or his mathrubhoomi. Very good anlysis - loved it⭐️
