Interesting discussion on Haldighati War. I too agree, it was not about religion.
It was about pride, politics, economy, and one's belief and ideals.

Akbar wanted supremacy and Pratap wanted just ONE thing - HIS Freedom. :)
He sent 3-4 embassies also to Pratap so that he may befriend him, but that was not successful.

Hence, the clash. :)

Sakat Singh's name, related to Chittor War was mentioned in a post on this thread.
He was same as Shakti Singh whom we have seen in the show. :)
