that is sooo true...
m not even comparing the actors here...though rosal are and will be close to us forever as praja...I prefer preleap praja also becoz of scenes conceptualization...which has gone for a severe toss post leap..the writing of scenes, is below average and cliched and ridiculously poor...I know we are talking abt 15th century...but dealing of emotions doesnt change, whatever time it is...
a wife must continue to love her husband, even after the dhoka she got in terms of trust issues...
but a husband will continue to hate and oh boy, in this case, pratap holds "grudges" against ajab...he is so massively against her, that he literally thinks she is a scheming, conniving liar...its just not in sync with whatever was the base of their lovestory preleap...u blame her for ur mother, fine pratap...coz he would be inclined to believe DB over ajab anyday...but to think that she would be a deshdrohi is so ridiculous man! Pratap fails as a husband, as a lover and as a best friend of ajab too right there...and also fails as a son - who couldnt convince his mother to come back in all these years...
on top of it, his attachment to patta's jija is annoying to no limits...he prefers patta's jija and compares her with ajab to put ajab down...we know they are the same people...but he doesnt...and for this bakwaas I totally blame the CVs...
get over this cheap drama CVs...show us substantial scenes and tracks with praja...they are capable of tons more...we have seen that pre leap (excluding phool drama) - we have got brilliant scenes in conceptualization terms preleap - river bath scene, or akhiya darisan, or all those soulmatey connection scenes - like balwant's naam karan, or the afghan war ones, pratap's confession, the ancestral hall scene between praja and JB and all the bijolia part 2 scenes...those were the days, where we would be in awe of the manner of writing in praja scenes...the dialogues are still memorable...I dono what happened to the entire screenplay department...???
