I'm speaking of Pratap-Ajabde ofcourse...at long last, they got some alone time today😆

And given the mahaan, wise beyond their years bacche they are, they utilized that time to take even more noble vows.

As always, Faisal-Roshni nail that genuine sense of pride and responsibility that Pratap-Ajabde feel towards their motherland...as Pratap recited each vow, Ajabde did not just accept those vows but reinforced them by adding some words of her own along the way...the strength in her voice in such moments reinforces why she is indeed Pratap's soulmate...and by the end when she also in turn asks for a vow from Pratap...in true Ajabde fashion, asking him to put collective wellbeing of the entire nation above his own, ofcourse Pratap would smile with pride and remark that his mother was right...he is blessed to have Ajabde as his life partner.

They are but children, but the solemnity in the way they spoke their vows showed that there is a strength and wisdom in both of them beyond their years.

Another sweet bit was Pratap wiping Ajabde's tears and trying to get her to laugh...and when she finally broke out into laughter...full on Roshni wala megawatt laughter😆...his affectionate smile was so sweet too...and I loved the bit when he remarks about how many papads Ajabde has made him belo to finally hear a few words of praise about him😆...Ajabde finally saying how blessed she is to have a man of such integrity as her life partner...

Only thing I didn't like was the fact that they changed Ajabde's costume for the bidaai...they changed her jewellery too I think...it's looking kinda unkempt now when she otherwise looked so regal for the wedding...oh well...finally some long awaited sweet moments b/w Pratap-Ajabde...nice to see.

I do love reading your take on the episode Anu... These episodes of the marriage of Pratap and Ajabde have been a pleasure to watch. And that is mainly because of Faisal and Roshni. You see such sincerity in their eyes when they are emoting the scene.

Aww thanks, Revathi! Long time...how've you been?

Yes, these episodes have been lovely and Faisal-Roshni are just perfect in these roles...their eyes shine with sincerity as you rightly said...and that is what makes Pratap-Ajabde sweet to watch...dunno how these kids portray emotions beyond their years so nicely.

Was just watching the opening scene again...Look at the way Pratap actually asks her permission before going about his plan..."Kya aap humein pehel karne dengi?" and the way she replies, "Kyun nahin..."...lol...these scenes of understanding b/w them are so cute...kitne pyare bacche hain.

*Edit: Also the way Ajabde put the yellow cloth around his neck in response when he asked her if she will take those vows with him...symbolically doing that gatbandhan again in a sense to convey her yes...

Awesome post! This scene, I must say, was worth the wait. The selflessness that these two souls possess is unique. They pledged to live and die for their country, rising above all their personal and selfish desires. Pratap always knew that she was the one for him. The way they looked into each other's eyes, the way Pratap held his hand out for her, the way she subtly yet tightly clutched his hand, the way they took the pheras, the way they expressed their gratitude on having got each other as their soulmates & 'Jeeva-saathi', the way they laughed and the way these two actors portrayed this plethora of emotions...Ah! I'm just awestruck.I loved the bit where Pratap got worried on seeing Ajabde crying and was nonplussed for a moment, and then broke into laughter joking around a bit in order to cheer her up, and wiped her tears away and then cast a loving glance on her while she chuckled! That quintessential charm of their relationship is just unmatched, and these kids have left behind every other stalwart of acting in emoting scenes like these. They have that capability to push you into an another dreamland of sorts. And yeah, I'm right there!

Beautiful post indeed👏👏

Faisal-Roshni indeed are brilliant actors...and they looked every inch the younger version of a maharana and maharani
there wasnt anything I dint like about this epi...praja connect was bang on...their love for motherland was perfectly spelt out...their own hand in glove connection was there with precision...the bidaai wasnt actually too emotional for me...I thot they did it just right...
and DB drama, Im game for it...its awaited and its relevant- she had to do something to bring jagmal on throne and she has started her game plan now...what I am really excited about is ajab being pratap's shield and thwarting DB...even though she will have very less support...not even pratap will support her...but she will be his guiding light...

Hey thanks, Rini :-)

@bold: Beautifully described...I loved that bit too...especially the way he looked at her with so much affection as she laughed...such sweet innocence b/w them even as there is such deep love...it's a rare combination thing to see in a childhood love story...these two are unique that way...there is a purity, a sort of piety in their love for each other as well as their motherland.

And yes these kids could teach a thing or two to grown ups about how to emote so beautifully with their eyes.

It's nice that we got a scene like this before the leap...wonder if we will get anymore now since there isn't much time left for the leap😕
