I see where your anger is coming from.but i beg to differ.
U see there always two type of people in this world. When they are in love the first type is ready to kill any one destroy anyone in order to protect, possess and defend the person they love.
While the second type is ready to die for the one they love...give up, sacrifice everything that means to them for the one they love... you see this type of people can never dream of hurting anyone...but they have the strength to go through any number of self sacrifices to protect, defend and keep the person they love happy.
Ajabde belongs to the second type, and Phool belongs to the first. It doesnt mean that Ajabde's love for Pratap is weaker or that phools is stronger because of her aggressive behaviour. Its just matter of how two different personalities deals with a situation.
Phool stuck to her aggressive character...she lashed out at her grand mom...a right which she holds...a position which she knows she has to speak up ...being the Raj kumari of Marwar...she has never known to keep her opinions to her self...neither does she knows how to be patient or think calmly...if she threatens the queen...she knows no one can touch her...no one can say anything to her...thats the power with which she grew up. The knowledge that she has the power o do anything...thats why we find phool always crossing some line or the other because of her reckless and impulsive nature...Again her action of threatening her grandmom doesnt actually show her love for Pratap is stronger...its just she knows she weilds the power to destroy anyone who hurts the people she loves..i remember her standing up for Ajabde in front of her Grandfather in a similar manner when he dared to call Ajab de a "Samant putri" ...its just her character guys...Yes she has feelings for Pratap...u cant question that...But then love is a mutual thing...and pratap doesnt feel that for her...he respects her courage, her loyalty to ajabde and as his friend...there is no mutual connection between them.
Coming to Ajabde...her love is of quiet nature...its not loud...but strong from within...if required she will lay down her own life without any thought to protect the one she loves...thats her personality...she grew up as a samant putri...where she didnt hold any power to even mention her own thoughts...her father treated her that badly...its only after pratap started giving her respect that she started voicing her opinons...that doesnt mean she was weak...remember she is some one who is so strong that even pratap had to accept defeat in front of her determination (during the whole marriage proposal track) Even Raja Udai singh asked her to reconsider and she dared to defy him...she is not weak ...in fact her strength is the steady type...that never falters...no matter what personal pain she personally has to go through...Besides Ajabde is smart...The reason she didnt let the queen leave the palace...apart from the fact that she didnt want to insult her parents guest...and also coz she didnt want to spoil the ,marriage atmosphere...are valid reasons...but u guys over looked a very sharp and intelligent strategy...Keep ur friends close...and ur enemies closer...Now that she know who is attacking she can be alert ..that was her mind that thought so many steps ahead...i dont think phool even considered that strategy..And if u guys forgot...i will remind u...Rani Jaiwanta bhai did the same...she could have exposed dheer bhai...but again she just warned and left...coz i can bet she is also following the same ideology..its smarter and more diplomatic...I think in that whole scene Ajabde proved that she does have the Makings of a True Queen. They are royalties guys..they need to be diplomatic, self sacrificing and need to able to handle situations without making matters worse...Pratap and Ajabde are not common boy or a girl in love...they are the future King and Queen of Mewar...And they have been brought up to act in that way...Obeying elders, respecting relations, self sacrificing, ability to think 5 steps ahead of your enemies...ability to mantain diplomatic relations, ability to solve crisis without making any fuss...these aresome of the traits both of them share...traits of true king and queen...its not weakness...these are true strengths ...
Regarding the whole Haldi scenario...well if u guys remeber the custom...it says that Pratap has to apply haldi which was applied to Ajabde coz that makes their heart and soul bond...but the hald i that phool had on her face was the same haldi that ajabde applied...Pratap hadnt even applied any haldi at the time...so what does that say😉
Besides..Historical fact is that pratap married Phool kanwar...on insistence of his wife Ajabde coz she wanted to protect phool from being married off to Akbar...so sooner or later that is bound to happen...Pratap had 11 wives and phool kanwar was his 5th wife...and all the marriages her did was for political reasons...protecting the girls from marrying Akbar...and in that way keeping the rajput allies intact...but history shows pratap was always in love with his wife Ajabde...and was heart broken when she died at the age of 40...And he was always lenient towards phool kanwar...tolerating her tantrums and her stuborness..as a good friend...did all his duties of a husband...but always considered her a friend ..he was never in love with her
Phew...thesis likha maine..Sorry
