I haven't seen Sharad acting. So I don't know whether he is the perfect choice for the character. But as I can see, there is a softness in his face that can cause some serious damages to the portrayal of MP because after all it's the character of a brave warrior. He needs to look soft & tough simultaneously.

Well noone can take Faisal space.

Who is Sharad? Can you please share a photo of him? :) . . All i can say that Saheer Sheikh maybe good as Pratap

I am extremely disappointed to find out the CVs settled for Sharad M after so much hunting for older Pratap. I doubt if this is the same PH / people who selected Faisal to play young Pratap. There is a vast difference between the choice of actor s.Sharad doesn't have a powerful voice, neither his eyes speaks volumes nor he has that physique which even slightly resembles Maharana Pratap's persona.


Really, I accept been a Sharad fan too, but just like you and Anu said being a good actor is different thing and being a suitable actor is different matter.When I received the news I was sorely disappointed, but somewhere I felt maybe they are planning three leaps in MP as sharad will be a safe choice to play 19 year old/ early 20's of Pratap, till amar Singh's birth Not more than that.But after I read ND is playing older Akbar my heart went down into two , there is no chance of three leaps in the show🤢.There is still time, they should swap the actors for Akbar and Pratap's role.


I am not saying all this because I love faisal (yes, I do enjoy his acting as Young Pratap), I didn't know him well before Maharana Patap.Its his acting that made me his big fan. The kid is excellent , but I dare say that Sharad's entry as elder MP will only loss viewers.Come on contiloe telefilms did you even took the auditions ?


I will stay to see the show not matter who arrives or leaves the show.No, I am not In only for the story, don't know why I can't leave watching any show mid way specially the historical ones .I have seen few shows where the grown up actors were royal misfit like Veer Shivaji, CGM, PRC but didn't give the show.In reality, I began to think that be ready, the gown up actors won't be up to the mark.My past experience of watching historical series was yet better that this one.🤢

as for standalone on pratap - Ill give him a chance...its not possible to judge on paper...for me the requirement is powerful voice, eyes that speak volumes and top notch performance in action sequences for starters...

I cannot imagine anyone else right now...too much attached to faisal...but if sharad has been chosen and there is nothing we can do about it...lets atleast give him sometime...if he fails to impress...then yes...quitting the show as a viewer would be a good option...

@bold : What will be the profit of bringing even good ajab, if Pratap won't be liable hiru?I am heart broken 🥺 . That actor rohit was better choice yaar at least he some what resembled faisal if not MP.

I agree with u Pankhu...pratap has to be the most convincing and important casting...and its his story more than anyone else...

actually I dont remember how was sharad as an actor...maybe Ill just catch couple of his epis of old show once more to see how he performed and I agree with ur post too that good actor and suitable actor mai pharak hai...but maybe he is training to look and be like pratap...an actor has to be all about adapting to the character...yeah nikitn is like a giant and that is also a wrong casting if one goes to see...akbar was no body builder, muscular man either...he was average height and looked like a nepali...

CVs havent gone wrong even in casting of cameos...so hopefully they saw something in him...which mayb worth giving a chance...

yeah even I feel rohit was the best choice...but this guy is better than rajneesh...rajneesh was absolutely plastic and model types...

coming to ajab...maybe its double standards on my part...its more my personal thing...maybe coz I became an addict to MP coz of her...if they ruin her casting, I m not going to watch...even if from the looks of it, they may even show ajab dying early...m just too attached to roshni's ajab and the girl has to has to match her...I cant give it a pass in her case...if they dont do it properly...

Correspond with you hiru and also you said it correct, we can't do anything if they have performed the casting. I haven't said I leave watching the show yaar, I can't stop watching MP am very much attached to each and every character of MP. What hurts is, am a fan of contiloe as they never went wrong on casting the cameos(in MP ) than how can they become wrong on casting older MP?

He can act good but Faisal have set the bar so high that our expectations grew higher and what we found in the end choco boy playing MP? Lets say even if he acts good from where he'll bring the persona of MP?

@bold: Hiru I totally agree on this part, of course its called personal favorite don't call it double standard re.. Comfortably, this the same case with me when Pratap/ Faisal is concerned.

There is no comparison of RoSal with anyone hands down yaar . I am saying it straight way whom so over they may bring i am not gonna like her as ajabde . I am gonna search roshni's innocence , her grace and her natural acting in her always .
