Maharana Pratap 5th, 6th, 7th Aug. 2014 Written Update

Hansa Bai applies the medicine on Ajabdeh's back. Pratap closes his eyes feeling Ajabdeh's pain. He cannot see it so he excuses himself. He meets Uday Singh on his way. He is about to go but Uday Singh stops him. Where are you going? Pratap says he wrong to think that he cannot be affected by any pain big or small. I have been proved wrong. I cannot see Ajabdeh in pain. Uday Singh stops him yet again. this isn't the time to run away thinking yourself to be mentally weak. This is the time to seek inspiration. Go inside and see Ajabdeh writhing in pain. She did it all for you. If you wont see it then you wont be able to understand or respect it. Ajabdeh is the live example of someone who sacrifices something or the other for their loved ones. Go inside. Pratap obliges.

Akbar recalls all the times when Pratap has won all the fights against him; Pratap's warnings to him time and again; his own soldiers praising Pratap and how he had killed them in fury. He is really disturbed. Bairam Khan stops the soldier who has brought a message for Akbar. Akbar notices the exchange and gets curious. He takes the note from his Khan Baba. He wants someone to read it out for him. I have a feeling that you are hiding something from me. Bairam Khan stops him. a few soldiers have revolted against Mughals on Gujarat border. Akbar wants to go himself and kill all of them. Bairam Khan suggests him not to go. I will take care of it but Akbar stays put. I will go and clear things myself. They think of me to be weak just because I couldn't win over Chittor! Akbar is not weak. Now I will have to tell this to them using my sword. I will have to tell everyone that I have won over Ajmer and Alwar. I have placed Nishan-e-Mughalia in Alwar. These soldiers think that I am weak? Make preps for my departure asap. Bairam Khan is worried that he will have to think of some way to stop Jalal that too very soon. Rukaiyya Bi has heard everything. She tells a kaneez to give her greetings to Tansen. I haven't met him in a long time.

Hansa Bai tries to revive Ajabdeh. She keeps on talking to her daughter to be strong. The medicine will take time to show its effect. Pratap wonders if she made some mistake in mixing the medicinal herbs. He wants to consult Vaid ji once again but she stops him as he has already disturbed him thrice. Pratap is worried about Ajabdeh. Hansa ji replies that some pains are so deep that they spread around the body and are much deeper than the usual wounds. They take time to heal. Prarap recalls the harsh treatment that Ajabdeh was met with at Mewar and feels bad. Hansa ji notices the positive change in Ajabdeh and feels happy. she tells Pratap to go and rest for a while but he isn't ready to budge. She agrees and goes to make more medicinal herb. Pratap tells Chakrapani to go and rest as well. Chakrapani leaves reluctantly. Pratap sits down beside Ajabdeh. He stops himself from caressing her head.

Akbar gets ready to leave for Gujarat border. Mahamanga tells Akbar's mom and Bairam Khan that soon Akbar will get to know that Pratap has won over Alwar and Ajmer once again. I had told you not to hide it from Shehan-Shah back then. Bairam Khan tells her not to repeat the problems but think of a solution. Akbar's mom is worried as her son hasn't slept since he has returned from Rajputana. I had thought that he will be at peace once Rukaiyya Begum comes here. Forget all that he hasn't so much as looked at her. They are surprised to hear Tansen's voice. Even Jalal hears it. he is instantly reminded of Pratap. Rukaiyya Bi too starts practising with Tansen which stops Jalal in his tracks. He is mesmerised by his voice. Bairam Khan and Jalal's mother like the voice too. Jalal looks completely smitten. He walks towards the area where they are practising in a trance. Mahamanga doesn't look too happy though. Akbar recalls the time when he had gone to see Meera Ma. He comes to where Rukaiyya Bi is singing. Tansen smiles as he notices him. he offers his greetings and then leaves from there while Rukaiyya Bi continues to sing with her eyes closed.

Meanwhile, Pratap continues to sit beside Ajabdeh all night long.

Akbar is listening to Rukaiyya Bi all mesmerised. He finally falls asleep on the couch. Rukaiyya Bi notices this and is happy. She adjusts him properly on the couch and covers him with a duvet. Just then Jalal wakes up. He throws the duvet away angrily. I had told you not to cross her limits. She is worried for him. You haven't slept since a long time. Don't punish yourself. You need rest. You can go to fight with your enemies tomorrow as well. He tells her to be quiet and walks off.

Jalal tells the soldier to inform his Khan Baba that he will leave for Gujarat tomorrow morning.

Bairam Khan wants to leave before Jalal wakes up. Tell him that I dint want to disturb him which is why I left early. Right then Jalal's arrival is announced. He is happy with the preps. Bairam Khan tries to stop him but he doesn't relent. My body can rest for a while but my mind cannot be at peace because of some sleep. I will definitely go to Gujarat. This way I will get to pass through Rajputana once again. Who knows what happens after that. He mounts on his horse.

Hansa Bai and Pratap have fallen asleep next to Ajabdeh only. Ajabdeh is surprised to see Pratap. She tries to get up but feels pain so Pratap helps her. she asks him if he sat here for the whole night. He nods. She cannot get up so he makes her lie down sternly telling her not to utter another word. Hansa Bai too wakes up. Pratap wants to call Vaid ji. Ajabdeh is worried for them instead. You guys haven't slept because of me. you both should take some rest. Pratap orders her to lie down quietly as she needs rest. She finally obliges.

Chakrapani brings Vaid ji with him. Vaid ji checks Ajabdeh. He tells them that the painful part of Ajabdeh's recovery is over. She will be completely fit in a few days. Hansa ji kisses her daughter though Pratap hides his emotions from all of them even then Ajabdeh can feel it. she notices him wiping his tears. He simply smiles at her as he turns to look at her.

Akbar is on his way to Gujarat. They have to take a detour because the straight route is not accessible due to heavy rains. Bairam Khan yet again tries to change his mind but in vain. Akbar doesn't want to take things lightly. I should spread this message in all the states here that no one can go against me. if I don't these small revolts then people will not fear me. He wants to go from the long route which will take him from Rajputana's states.

Pratap wants to make the medicine himself. He orders all the daasi's to go and rest. He grinds all the ingredients himself as he recalls the reason behind Ajabdeh's situation. He hurts his finger. Ajabdeh has seen it all and is worried for him. He gives it back to the daasi. He asks about her health. She answers in positive. The medicine is ready. He wants to put it and asks her to turn around a little. She agrees to apply it herself. I have so many daasi's here. I will call you in case I need you here. He leaves from there sadly / reluctantly. Ajabdeh applies the medicine herself. She is worried for Pratap as she knows that he is hurt.

Pratap is upset with Ajabdeh for sending him out of her room. I can never understand her. What would have happened if I had applied the medicine? He recalls Hansa Massi's words. Some pains (which are too deep) take time to heal. Hansa Massi is right. I have only given pain to Ajabdeh. He recalls all the times when Ajabdeh was hurt because of me. I must change my behaviour towards Ajabdeh. She is such a nice person and I always trouble her. this is not good. Uday Singh comes there. He has not seen this side of Pratap till date. When the centipede bit Ajabdeh and you looked all pale when you saw Ajabdeh's condition. It felt like even though the poisonous centipede had bit her but its poison has spread in your body. Pratap lies that he has never seen anyone getting hurt before. Uday Singh catches his lie. I can understand your situation very well as I too was like this. Even after fighting n number of fights I was always pained to see your Rani Ma in pain. Honestly speaking I could never bear it. he relates an incident where JB had got hurt and he was very much pained to see her condition. I sat beside your Rani ma for three straight days / nights. I dint leave her side for even a second. Pratap wonders about the three days thing. Uday Singh wasn't surprised to see his son worried as he too used to do the same. When your loved one is in trouble then you (too are at pain). He stops midway. Your Rani ma must be missing you. I think you should go and meet her now. Pratap takes his permission to go take a bath.

Pratap looks in the mirror as he gets ready. He talks to his other self. Are my feelings so visible on my face? His other self agrees. Your feelings for Ajabdeh can be guessed from your face anytime. Anyone can understand them. even your dad caught you. Pratap decides that he will have to be more careful. His other self tells him to be careful not to come in front of Ajabdeh. Be all formal if you coincidentally meet her or go all quiet. Your feelings will be very much visible on your face this time. If you are caught now then all your feelings will come out in the open. Pratap agrees but wants to meet Ajabdeh once. I want to see if she is fine or not. He heads towards her room while his other self smiles in the mirror.

Daasi helps Ajabdeh in sitting up. She is very much in pain. Pratap too is in pain to see her thus but decides to stick to his plan. Mamrak ji notices him looking at Ajabdeh from a distance. They both exchange awkward glances. Pratap finally leaves from there without meeting Ajabdeh which surprises Mamrak ji.

DB writes a letter to Uday Singh regarding Phool and Pratap's marriage alliance. Just then Ajabdeh feels something. The weather too gets stormy. Wind blows DB's away. It lands in VB's feet. She reads the letter and by then DB comes and snatches it from her. DB talks about etiquettes. VB talks about the alliance but DB warns her that she will complaint against her to Rana ji.

Chakrapani and Saubhagyawati meet to discuss about Pratap and Ajabdeh's feelings towards each other. Ajabdeh immediately diverts the topic to something else when she talks about Pratap. Saubhayawati finds it weird that Pratap was with Ajabdeh when she was unconscious but since she has gained conscious he is nowhere to be seen. He hasn't even come to meet her once. Chakrapani too cannot understand anything. Pratap if offering jal to sun.

JB is upset with DB for she sent a letter to Rana ji about her son's alliance without even consulting her. She goes to talk to her. JB and VB meet DB on their way only.

JB wants answers from DB who agrees on the condition that no stranger should be present there (hinting at VB). VB leaves taking the hint. DB tries to convince JB about the benefits of Phool and Pratap's marriage. JB is not inclined with the idea. DB calls Ajabdeh a simple, foolish and emotional girl. I know that Pratap too thinks from his heart many a times. Don't you want his partner to be strong and smart when he feels weak? Phool is strong enough. You saw what she did when she got to know about Ajabdeh and Pratap's feelings. She broke her relations with her best friend. Ajabdeh took all the blame and left for Bijolia. She dint even try once to get the love of her life. I too understand that one day Pratap will certainly rule Mewar one day. He needs Mangalya Bal for his security (as told by their priest once). He will get it from Phool. A relation with a strong state like Marwar can only safeguard his future. We can fight as much as we want to but we shouldn't be affected by any of these things when it comes to finding a partner for the future prince of Mewar. JB doesn't want to talk to DB on this topic and tells her thus.

Chakrapani suggests Pratap to have food with Ajabdeh in her room today. Pratap asks him why. Chakrapani do the same thing when he is ill. Pratap reasons that this is because he and Saubhagyawati are married. Chakrapani stops himself as he was going to call them lovers. Pratap leaves from there.

Saubhagyawati comes to talk to Chakrapani about the same. Both are trying to stay away from one another. Something's up!

Pratap recalls seeing Ajabdeh in pain in his sleep. He cannot get the images out of his head. Chakrapani knocks at his door wanting to talk to him. he tells Pratap that he feels he has fever and is feeling cold. Get me some medicines please. Pratap asks him if he looks like some Vaid ji to him. Chakrapani points out that he had made so many medicines for Ajabdeh. Pratap calls it a different matter altogether. Her injury was so grave that she had to be treated asap. Chakrapani stops him as he tries to talk him to Vaid ji. There were so many other people too to take care of her then why did you make medicines for her on your own. Why did you stay up for her for the whole night? Pratap does not want to talk about this topic.

Ajabdeh checks the medicine recalling Pratap's wound. Saubhagyawati asks her if this medicine is different as Pratap hasn't made it himself.

Pratap checks Chakrapani who is not at all ill. You came here to ask me all these questions about Ajabdeh at this hour? It isn't like that at all. Let me sleep. Chakrapani wants his answers first. Why are you both behaving so weirdly all of a sudden?

Ajabdeh tells Saubhagyawati that it doesn't matter as to who has made it. Saubhagyawati tells her that Pratap continued to give instructions to daasi's while they were mixing all the ingredients to make your medicine. Ajabdeh feels happy which Saubhagyawati points out.

Chakrapani tells Pratap that he should forget his past. Look at your present.

Ajabdeh is staying away from Pratap so that Phool doesn't get hurt. Saubhagyawati feels that Phool would have forgotten everything by now. Ajabdeh recalls Phool's words. Your snatched Pratap from me by playing to be an innocent girl in front of him. saubhagyawati points out that neither Phool nor Pratap will be happy with each other ever. How will you do something for Phool's benefit this way? Your decision to stay away from Pratap is hurting everyone and will continue to hurt for life.

Pratap too agrees to share his feelings with Ajabdeh. Both the friends hug.

Saubhagyawati tells Ajabdeh to share her feelings with Pratap. She agrees to tell it to him tomorrow morning.

Phool is looking at all the letters while she recalls her Dadi's words. She tells a daasi to deliver her letter to Ajabdeh asap.

Next morning, Ajabdeh and Pratap feel nervous as they see each other. They both pray for strength as they offer water to sun. They both look at each other once again as they finish their puja.

Pratap and Ajabdeh seem to be heading towards each other when Ajabdeh meets her mom on the way. She can feel the colour on Ajabdeh's face to which Ajabdeh replies that she has never felt better. Hansa Bai leaves from there. A soldier brings info for Pratap just then. He has been called by Rana ji. Ajabdeh and Pratap look at each other for a while after which he leaves to meet his father. Ajabdeh feels sad. She turns to go to her room sadly.

Bairam Khan stops Akbar from taking a certain route as it crosses from Rajputana. Akbar wants to go from this route as it passes from Ajmer and Alwar. Bairam Khan tries to divert it. Akbar wonders if the soldier appointed by him at Ajmer and Alwar were incapable of doing their duties and Bairam Khan is trying to hide it from him. Bairam Khan agrees reluctantly. He is worried if Jalal has got a doubt on him. Akbar agrees to stay near his favourite lake tonight.

Hansa Bai asks Mamrak ji to talk to Rana ji once about AJabdeh and Pratap's feelings for each other. He has been called by Rana ji to discuss some important issue. He cannot talk about this personal matter in between. Hansa Bai insists so he agrees to try for her sake.

Pratap and Mamrak ji reach at the same time. Uday Singh tells Pratap about the letter sent by DB. She has sent a message from Raja Maldev as well. He reads it out loud for them. The letter talks about Pratap and Phool's marriage alliance. All three of them are taken aback especially Mamrak ji.
