First and foremost, I wanna kill that dasi who handed over the letter to Ajabde. Couldn't she keep her mouth closed rather than suggesting what might be its contents.
Well coming to the point, Pratap was taken aback by the proposal of his and Phool's marriage. He, after reliving all the sweet moments with Ajabde, couldn't even imagine that anyone could replace her. He always had the dream to spend his life with Ajabde, how could Phool or anyone take her place. He was meant for her, and she for him. He couldn't accept the fact that destiny was again going to play the same cruel game with him and his feelings. That just seemed incredible to him.
He like a good human being told Chakrapani how he didn't want to hurt Phool's feelings (but that's inevitable). That was more about how he was unwillingly and forcefully trying to convince his heart to marry Phool, just providing his heart with a reason- unreasonable enough. But why didn't he ask himself that did Phool was ever so large-hearted? Even after knowing his & Ajabde's feelings, did she ever sacrifice something for them? No! C'mon Ajabde and Pratap.
But Chakrapani's words brought back his real feelings. He just couldn't forget his sentiments so easily- that just depicts how strongly he wanted her, how strongly he felt for her. He decided to confess his feelings to her at once.
Ajabde, not losing on her sacrificing nature, merely congrats him on his marriage with Phool, pretending to be fine while the thought of losing Pratap made her hollow inside. "Bas ye hi kehna tha aapko?", Pratap's words were as agonised as himself. He was hurt, deeply hurt. "HOW COULD SHE LET GO OF ME SO EASILY? Is that so easy for her, while my heart screams with pain whenever I think of losing her. Why am I the only one who always tries to save this bond, why never she?"
She had just wounded his heart once again. But she, herself was going through the same, her heart was sinking. The most difficult part for them was pretending to be fine, when their soul wasn't pacified or at peace. Pratap is deeply hurt, so much that he just wanted to leave Bijolia as quickly as possible. Because everything he would see around would come back haunting, reminding him of his memories with Ajabde. He strengthened his heart, just like Ajabde did, because he knew that that was something that AJABDE TOO WANTS.
Okay, I understand many people didn't like the episode but I donno why, but I did. The things are not EXACTLY the same as before. And anyways, love is love in true sense only when it's tested again and again but still stands strong. Pyaar itna aasaan hota toh baat hi kya thi! 😛
