Here is an important understanding that I feel like all of us somewhere have lost while getting carried away with whatever the CVs have showed us thus far in the show. The serial is about the life of Maharana Pratap, he is most revered for his heroic contributions to the history of India and majorly to the history of Rajasthan. I don't think that we should be focusing on his love life as much as we should be on his own personal achievements and glory. He is a war hero not some sort of ranjhaa or majnu that we should be judging the character on the basis of his love life. Please try to stray from the love angle that the CVs have thrown at us and focus on what Maharana Pratap is best known for. Please and thank you. It's great that we are such loyal fans of Pratap's love life, but try not to get involved in trifles with others over the issue.

We appreciate him and love him but still we never get to know about the personal love life of a ruler so we go kind of awe on it.
Well I love maharana pratap for both his works, personality and determined nature.

The show is based on MP which doesn't only mean to show his achievements but his personal life too. MP also had a personal life like everyone. SO, I don't find anything wrong in showing that.

Actually ur right...honestly I personally got carried away a lot with all of the drama going on...and with my demands over PrAja
yes the show is on the warrior Pratap - what he is remembered and known for the best in history...and I shouldnt actually go overboard over his lovelife...
anyway...I just want CVs to not mess with war scenes atleast...Haldighati mai they better not show any ghotala and rubbish

I agree with the fact that the personal life should be discussed. I am not saying that he should be looked upon as only a warrior, but the emphasis is not balanced is what I am saying. I feel like we should not exaggerate the emphasis on his personal life because the serial should be focusing around his achievements as what he is best known for, not the nitty-gritty ends of his love life. Another reason for me saying that is that the CVs are butchering his personal life and the sequence of it. Why are we placing so much importance on something that we are not even being portrayed correctly. Just some food for thought.

Thank you for understanding where I am coming from Hiral!!! It would definitely make me leave the fandom if they butchered the battle of Haldighati. It is one of the most renowned battles in history, if they use their liberal creativity there as well then it might as well be the end of the show. It's a factor that scares me too. 😕

They have spoiled it since Bundi track. MP had a personal life but there was no love story or favoritism between wives like US. US had been shown only because favouritism towards one wife influenced MP's life for long.
He is a warrior, strategist, administrator above all.

In old shows also, spouses were shown but not to this extent. The CVs are influenced by Kekta it seems. Harem politics, love triangles and gossip of women is more important than real history.

Sorry to say they failed to balance. They managed to balance in JKR. But not this one.

There are many norms of culture which they flouted. Unmarried boys and girls meeting alone, holding hands, girls roaming openly without purdah. That was such an age in history that girls could be caught by other rulers any time. They had to keep ghunghat and purdah for safety.
Dancing was looked down upon in those times. But they made Kunwar Pratap dance last year and everyone watching his performance joyously!

They should take a cue from fate of CGM. They took a romantic looking guy as grown up Chandragupta Maurya and focused on love story instead of other glories of the emperor and the show tanked. Same happened to SRK film Asoka which focused on some unheard of love story and real Emperor Ashoka was ignored. Film flopped miserably.

Historicals now are a running joke. Mukesh Khanna who was permanent fixture in such shows earlier has now sworn off them. He refused every offer since 2000s.
