yes...it was important for him to be alive to fight it out by playing to his strength...war is a game of chess - u can always demand a draw if u see urself nearing a checkmate or stalemate...\
and he was coerced into leaving by his generals for greater good...for the sake of his people...who depend on him...so yeah i dont think it was wrong...
yep that scene would be heart touching and emotional - Pratap's true supporters rising up to the occassion and motivating him

I can't agree wid u more.. 😊
@bold... yup!.. even I used to say that when Pratap vanvaas track came! 😛

very xcited to catch the epi in fact all the action tonite, wars have always been a delight to watch in M.P, 😊 very thrilling..a big 👏 to the directors..
actually will forgive the c.v's coz they gave a little glimpse of wot's actually going on in pratap's mind, I mean inspite of his inner turmoil and so much going on in his mind as well, countering the enemy, strategies, unity , he still has ajab in his mind..hope JB keeps this in mind and puts forth the proposal for praja union after the war b4 US..fingers crossed...
now y m i thinking that the new prince is samewot gonna play a parallel role in the future against ajab, coz as far as I know he isn't much of a historical relevance, the way c.v's are throwing him on our faces ...
again ajab baby the amount of brain cells u utilise to think of phool to the extent to write letters to her , even if u channelize 1 % of it towards pratap, hum prajajano key man main umeed ki a Lehar daudegi ...
😃

Thanks! wars is the show's specialty!!!
I liked how they showed Pratap's thoughts! very nicely done!
yes I am hoping that in due time JB will put forth the idea of praja marriage to US
i hope there is no parallel role lol
Ajabdeh bawri ho gai hai!

yeah oh..Haldighati war was a very heartbreaking one for Pratap...from whatever Ive read and that one play I went to see...m sure u would be knowing too... he was really guilty over having to go away from battlefield...at that time two people came into play to motivate him - one was Bhama Shah, the one who financed him to carry on the struggle against Mughals and other was his wife 😳 (dont think they mentioned the name then - but I can guess who it was now😳- but they did show her giving him incredible strength to get over the loss of soldiers and his guilt)...that surely was a game changer
yes truly - his strategist ways helped him survive in jungle and wreaked havoc for Mughals..👏
precap - yeah pratap will kill Hukum Singh - bass I wish he reaches GR and all in time - maybe here Paras can help him...tell him about what Rattan Singh told them about Jalal's strategy and his father being coerced...

I dont even think about that battle because its so painful! I hate it when good people have to face such loses! Yes Bhama Shah was very instrumental in keeping Pratap's mission alive!!
I have mentioned this on numerous occasions that his guerilla warfare tactics were passed on to the Marathas who ultimately weakened the mughals so in the end it was the Maharana's efforts that brought down the mughals!

hoping that today will be good and that no one on team Rajputana dies!! Besides Pratap has to meet Ratan Singh!!!

@Hiral
I agree with you on Pratap's evolution as a leader and strategist. From a boy who had jumped in battlefield, pretending to be a soldier last year and getting rebuked by Rajrana ji for mistakes, he has come a long way. He was earlier only unbridled rage. Now with experience and training he has become a brainy strategist. Earlier he would hesitate to kill, cringe at sight of blood, get distracted by shrieks of others or fake calls of help/mercy, feel guilty when people close to him died. Guru ji and Rana Khetta have polished this uncut diamond.😊

From eavesdropping on US and Raawat ji's strategic conversations to living out his destiny himself as his father gets sidetracked and he takes lead.

US is weak. He should already give up the throne and make Pratap the Maharana. I have zero respect for him as a ruler, father, husband, administrator!

Sometimes I feel Mewar would have suffered less if not for US. By the time MP got chance to take over it was too late, too much damage had been done. 😕

Though the precap only show the worst, I think that its not a bad omen but the beginning and until you have really lost, you are still winning!

Child's instinct- After all Pratap is a child compared to the others! And children many times notice and see things that adults dont pick up on!

This entire week seems to be thrilling and fast paced... I liked yesterday too!

Loved your analysis especially the ones marked above...😊

The best scene yesterday beside JB- Pratap conversation definitely was when

Pratap told Rawatjee-

"Aap yudh ki tayyari kijiye, hum yeh jaanne ka prayatn karte hain ki hamara khilaf koi shadyantra toh nahi racha ja raha"

In Chess the significant half of the battle is using your foresight to preempt what strategy your opponent has on his mind. The other bit of the sport is won by making the right moves...

Pratap is working around this war like a true warrior...

He has always wanted to avoid the war unlike all these (so-called adult) kings!

Total agreement on how wisely JB advised Pratap to leave havan after first charan. Shows that not only this mother understands her son well but is a wonderful stateswoman too! She knows that she cant be rigid with tradition with the enemy at the gate...

As much as I love Ajabde, a little of the ice-cold water (from the Scandinavian frozen lake that Phool will be plunged into) has to put on her head too!

She loves Prataap so much but turned her heart into steel, but in case of Phool, why doesn't she see beyond her blind faith in her naive BFF...

So much so that she is not even thinking of what state Pratap might be in now...! Or the impending war!

Thanks!
Yes you are right, war is like chess and the strategy is more important than anything else!
JB understands Pratap and political strategy and knows something is amiss!
hahah, you are so right, the ice cold of scandinavia has affected AJabdeh in the worst way! she is acting like praja never happend
