Here are some questions that have been bugging me for a while now... want CV's to pay attention...so please bear with me guys 😊. I watched quite a few episodes at a time and altogether there seems to be quite a few contradictions which did not add up very well for me...

1. Mewar - Marwar have a strained relationship... MM is a samant of Mewar... US does not even want to send an invit to Marwar...then how come MM/Maldev/US has no
objection to Phool/Ajab friendship...They are shown to be spending time in each others
houses/palaces... isn't it against normal protocol

2. The princess/queen pairs lineup/swayamver from different parts of Rajputana is really not being handled well...none of those queens/princesses are acting accordingly.. they are behaving like commoners...I don't see any grace or dignity intact in any of them..which surely
is not possible...for the sake of comical relief these characters are becoming unbelievable...

3. The amount of speech/dialouge given to Ajab/Phool is a bit OTT ... they may be princesses..but are still kids...moreover they do not really have any post in any of the courts.. they have not even been shown to take part in any political proceedings so far...
I don't think at this point this is appropriate to show them interfering in political discussions (like advising US about Marwar-Mewar bond etc)

4. In Chittorgarh are the guests allowed anywhere without permission...anyone can burge in even when a confiedential discussion is in progress..I believe war strategies of Rajputana/Mughhal or current state of affairs etc. are considered confidential

5. I understand CVs want to show Ajab to be of sacrificial in nature...nothing wrong with that... but being a guest (that too a kid) does she have enough authority to discuss the Pratap-Phool alliance!! Or even if she said (acc to MM's message) so it looks really strange that US is agreeing to that against JB's/Pratap's wish...he did not even consider a discussion about the same with Marwar (Phool's guardian)...how is that possible...

Sorry for the looong post... do feel free to share ur views!!!!! 😊

This show maintained protocol of those times only in its initial days. Since then they have resorted to too many creative liberties and added masala to contemporarise this show.
Kids could not even look into elders' eyes back then, let alone talk to them. Especially for girls this was a no no. Listening to confidential conversations of the king was akin to Rajdroh and could entail severe punishment. But in MP, anyone can eavesdrop on Rana ji's convo!

I feel it is useless to take up issues on history, authenticity and even routine bloopers now.

The show has gone populist with a vengeance. I dare say it is almost like a fan fiction now with historical characters as its inspiration. Only thing missing is a disclaimer like the other show on rival channel.

Oh yes...even the grown ups were not allowed to raise their voices in front of elders...and this rule applied not only to the royals but in general...

..I have stopped expecting history, authenticity etc long back...we don't hv those in Indian shows...just trying to enjoy what they are showing as a fairytale...but the obvious bloopers on a daily basis are somewhat coming in my way...once in a while a little bit of consistency will not probably harm the entertainment factor I thought šŸ˜†

Agree...disclaimer is a must...
