The scorching heat took a toll on the child artistes of 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra " Maharana Pratap'. Faisal Khan (as Pratap), Vishal Jethwa (Akbar) and Roshni Walia (Ajabde Punwar), suffered heat stroke during a recent shoot.
Says a source, "Due to telecast issues, the children shot for 22 hours on end. The shoot began on Tuesday and ended only on Wednesday morning. Vishal ran up a high temperature and was taken to the hospital in the evening. Faisal and Vishal also sustained minor injuries during the promo shoot a week ago. While Roshni's mother refuted the news of her illness, Vishal said, "I was sick yesterday as it was too hot. But the production unit took good care of me. I am fine now."
Ask him about the injuries and he says, "That happens when you miscalculate a punch. Both Faisal and I get into the character so much that we forget we're acting. I had an injury on my face, but am much better now." And what about the shoot, which went on well beyond the stipulated 12 hours? "This was the first time we shot that long," he insists. Faisal was unavailable for comment.
