I have read through every possible archive, and what i can conclude is, Jaivanta Bai was his chief queen, and history brands Dheer Bai as a power craving manipulative lady, not honorable, in any way what so ever. The throne rightly belonged to Pratap, not only becoz he was first born, but his resume was impressive enough for the people and ministers of Mewar to go against the will of king and make him the king. So, u see, he was more the people's choice, and not just king's. Its true, they are doing over the top portrayal of Dheer as a villainess. Its also true, Akbar is shown as a creepy man. More so, he didnot attain the title 'Akbar' so early. He was truely great in many ways, so was Pratap,... two best competitors of that time, who were one of the greatest, each in their own way.
