Pratap runs and supports hanging Nattha on his shoulders. Bairam Khan tries to beat Pratap but the latter cuts Nattha's rope and frees him. Pratap reminds Bairam Khan that every time they have fought he has defeated the latter.
Bairam Khan's army captures Pratap and hangs his friends upside down. Dheerbai as always puts the blame on Jijabai for their situation. Dheerbai assumes that Bijuiya king Rao Mamrad is dead and that's why he has not retuned to protect them.
Jijabai asks Queen Hansa not to listen to Dheerbai's false presumptions but the Bijuyia queen falls unconscious with tension. Rao Sultan learns that Rana Uday Singh and Rao Mamrad are riding towards Bijuyia alone.
Rao Sultan's soldiers are unable to open the main gate of Bijuyia palace as it has been blocked by heavy weight from inside. Pratap challenges Bairam Khan to fight the dual but Bairam Khan asks his army to kill Pratap.
Pratap instigates Bairam Khan to fight with him alone in front of his soldiers or else they will never respect their army chief. Bairam Khan agrees to fight a dual with him. Bairam Khan lashes him with hunter when Pratap tries to save his friends.
Jijabai fears an unexpected danger but convinces queen Hansa that her husband and son are fine because if anything untoward had happened to them then her breadth would also have been taken. Dheerbai again questions her intentions but Jijabai loses her cool and shuts her up. She also tells Dheerbai that as per their bet she will end up apologizing by touching her feet.
