Must mention at the start that I really want to know about the great Maharana Pratap's life so try to watch MRP as much as possible. Nowadays I hate to watch.

What is wrong wth the writers?! They are creating either black or white characters.

Uday Singh as king is shown trigger happy! Ready to chop off young son's head, burn alive another son! Seriously what kind of loon would trust his enemies & mugal to the extent that he burns alive his own son!!!
Everybody is either brave, gullible & foolish or manipulative and cruel.
I hate Bhatiyani (love A Gordia) but can't take her anymore.

Please show more respect to the great characters of the past.
I feel the REAL MAHARANA PRATAP DESERVES BETTER THAN THIS.

Really showing young person being burnt alive!

Is this the real story of real MRP? Maybe people who know can answer this.

They show anything. 😆

US announced death sentence for his other son Shakti without even proper investigation of his side of the matter. And it was Pratap who had to save him in this serial.

Just keep looking at what they show. That's the policy which each of us had to adopt whether we liked it or not.

Sorry to say,

When i was watching the episode with my father, he said Pratap was saved from chita..thats true. Something like this happen to him..

I know! Granted the king has rights to do what he wants, but would he not investigate fully especially when it concerns his son! He straight away says go knock off his head! How can you show a youg boy being burnt alive. I cannot digest this.

I relly want to like Maharana Pratap serial but now I am sorry I don't. All they seem to be doing is butchering the characters. They just make Uday Singh seem so foolish, gullible and uncaring about his sons.

You mean to say the real Uday Singh did put his living breathing son MRP on chita and tried to burn him! OMG. Thanks for sharing, I must read more about real MRP. Somehow what they are showing here seems too incredible.

don't know what the cv's r showing is believable or not..hv no idea abt the real history...but nowadays the story looks unrealistic...

yes, I agree, it is hard to believe. King is giving all these sort of harsh brutal punishments to his own sons without investigating in detail. And also a powerful army general sitting to take a revenge with a 15 year old boy trying all these cheap traps to get him.

It was very interesting now I am sort of losing interest in watching.

Rajput's use to burn alive during olden days so history apart its not new in Rajputs, it is pride to them.

I was investigating more on time frame they are showing in MP, as per current track its around 1556-1559 as Akbar just become a king and BK is in power. Around 1556 BK was busy in panipat wor and after that Akbar had to fight against his own relative to get back Lahor and other north part of India. Around 1558-59 BK was putting his head more towards rajputana and Akbar was not happy with his work style and ask him to leave.

That is the thing, I also want to learn about the Great Maharana Pratap. What they are shwoing seems so strange. It only makes Uday Singh come across uncaring & callous. Instead of making us like the characters I am starting to dislike them. Uday Singh, Bundi Naresh, Bhatiyani even MRP's mother. She just meekly lets Bhatiyani walk all over her. Panna dai needs to tell her to show more spine! All characters just come across as weak and either black or white

Today when Bhatiyani goes on and on -- I just could not watch any more, I changed the channel.

I wanted so much to watch story of real MRP and like it!
