Is it Maharana Pratap or history of Akbar ??

I don't understand why they are focusing on Akbar ?? 😕 Yeah we all know Maharana Pratap is known for his battle against Akbar but that does not mean this show concentrates on Akbar's life. I don't like it at all. I want to know more about Pratap...what will he do now ?? But they are showing Humayun's death etc etc 😒

I have been protesting against this since the day it was reported that Mughals' entry will be shown soon!

It was just bullshit!! US and Raawat instantly forgot Pratap and started discussing about Jalal and how he would behave after Humayun's death?! So much time killed on them? 😡

All we are obsessed with, are crap foreign invaders?!! 🤢

I think it is clear! We don't have history and proper records of our own people. We only have records of their struggle against foreigners. It is only foreigners who have myth, folklore as well as detailed historical records of them! 😡

That means CVs researched a bit, fabricated a lot and then took easy route of focusing on Mughals! 😲

And here we wanted to know about Mewar, its people, political, socio-economic and cultural scenario!And some insight into background of US and queens to know why they behaved the way they did!

CVs aren't going to do something positive here either. Mughals will be shown ruthless and blood thirsty crocodiles, jo apne baap ke bhi sagey nahi hote! Only to show contrast with Maryada purushottam Pratap! 🥱

I'm on station. Missed epi. Pls give a brief update. I knew de will do this. Feeling sick here. I started watching for only MP, can't bear ph showing life history of others. Was it fully on akbar?

It's okay.

No the episode was not on Akbar fully. Same drama of Pratap leaving and JB in a limbo whether to go with him or not and finally declaring she won't go. Pratap leaving and refusing house help men and women that Rawat ji was providing for him. Some villagers telling him they would not let him go. And he calmed them giving lecture on obedience of Raja, how they all had to obey the orders of the person who protected them. US all regretful. JB nearly in depression. Sajja weeping.

Then Rawat ji got a sandesh from Delhi, it was about Humayun's death and Hemu ruling. From then on US and Raawat only kept discussing Jalal, Humayun, Bairam Khan and impact of Humayun's death on Jalal etc. Precap was also fully about Jalal and Maham Anga.

The very fact that Raawat and US called this Dili wali thing more important than Pratap is enough of a signal to know what to expect in future episodes.

MP story is incomplete without Akbar and same do apply to Akbar too. In a way i am happy as if they are showing more on akbar that do indicates MP is not going to end once MP becomes king. MP story starts when he becomes kind as he is going to do life long fight with Akbar. Just wonder when they are going to show Prataps other brothers as after him becoming king few of them joined Akbar.

Akbar could have been shown later when actually some battles or political disturbance affecting Mewar occured and when Pratap's brothers joined him. We did not need to see his childhood or growing years or impact of his father's death on him or his conditioning by Maham Anga!

This is clearly over focus.

MP's history is incomplete without Akbar. But his history is not just Akbar alone, is it?

Thanks skepblun 🤗 i wz dying to know what happened. I can't bear jalal getting more screenspace, had i been really interested i would have watched other show which is on him. I watch this show only for mp hope de dun disappoint us

100% agree with u...there is no meaning of showing Akbar's life in Pratap history...only show when battle or any tension creates with Mewar ...

I agree!! I will QUIT watching this show at once if I find that they are giving even equal screen space to Akbar let alone more screen space!! Akbar should hog limelight only around battles and political tensions that directly affect Mewar! Or else why to watch this show?! 😲

I would also like to add that I am surprised how they never showed Gufi Paintal again and merely talked of Humayun's death! So what was that hue and cry about the veteran being in MP?! So much hoopla for one episode?! Ha! 🥱

They have cast the right man for Bairam Khan's role. His voice and physique do justice to his character. Nice actor. Been seeing him since Chandrakanta in mytho and historical shows on TV. 😊 Casting mein MP is a thousand times better than any other show of this genre in recent years!

Still Raawat ji and US mutually saying that samachar about Humayun and Akbar was more important than Pratap was not a positive signal for me as a viewer!
