A Man who Gave Himself for his Motherland -- Maharana Pratap

wo jhukna nahi janta
these words of jayvantabai still rebounds in my ears. Pratap proved himself yesterday, he didn't bow down nor he lost any fight.. He fought fiercely. Yesterday we saw a real defender of mewar, uday singh forgave shams khan in belief that he ll quit his evil deeds, but has snake ever stopped spewing venom? Shams even begged before pratap yesterday and for a moment i was bewildered if shams is really repenting, but as i said he is venomous snake, he deserved to die.. Pratap gave him the punishment he deserved. I wish shams khan should have got more severe and brutal death.

Where did the pains of wounds go? Isn't guruji's words were proven true? Our body can never hinder what our heart want to do. Mewar ko aanch ayegi to wo veer yoddha khud ki fikr nahi krega.. Dats what he proved yesterday. Salute to Pratap, he never dreams to rule, he never dreams to seek attention, he never dreams of getting throne.. He has only one dream and that is his life, his love and his existance, which is termed as mewar.

Well My question is Why did he stop before stabbing shams khan? Its the point on which i want your opinions..
As far as my thinking is concerned i feel it was because of thinking "nihatthe pr war nahi krte" means if your enemy is unequipped, its not right to attack him. But was this the point that pratap stopped? Shams khan made several evil attempts to kill pratap then why did pratap's hand stopped? Pls share ur opinions

Good Post The reason I feel for your question Why did he stop before stabbing shams khan? is that Pratap is innocent child who is learning different aspects of life slowly He is going through learning process It was first time he is killing someone whom he hate so much for his motherland, for his friend somewhere his innocence came in between also his fathers jeevan daan promise maybe I think so next time for such situation he will be more stronger I know he killed many soldiers but Shams Khan was different person

I was also thinking the same... He easily killed the other guy who was WITH Shams but why the hesitation to kill Shams Khan? Prolly bcuz the day was growing overwhelming... First his wounds, then the Pratyogita, then the blast, then Som's death and now this. He hesitated for a second because brutal murder: he does not know. But he HAS to learn that as he is to become a Maharana. And this is sadly an everyday thing of a Maharana's life 😊

And I guess he stopped b4 stabbing Shams Bcoz its not easy for a 12-23 yrs boy to kill some1. No matter Hw bravo he is but to kill some1 ur heart has to convert into stone which Pratap can't do at this young age.

Qki Bauji Raj ka Dil abhi bhi baccha hai yaar...

But he will prove himself as BHARAT KA VEER PUTRA of History and will slaughter all those evils jo uske Mewar ki taraf nazar uthake dekhenge... 😊

but pratap has easily killed the another man who was with shams khan then why such moment came for shams khan? Yes jeevan daan promise came in between and it might be the reason. But the way everyone was asking pratap to kill him, what was reason for that? I feel you justified the points and i can agree to them. And thanks for appreciation 😊

yes true, he didn't know killing anyone brutally who is lying before you helpless, though shams was killer but may be his heart flickered because of killing someone who is under ur reach.. Stabbing would have been really tough but he did it. Hope one day he wins over his emotional weakness. Loved the way he did everything but went to jayvanta bai telling he did dat just for his frnd som, nothing more. Such a true heart. In love with the show

so true, i agree with it, even bravest would have stopped to take this step. But MP was truly a brave warrior, otherwise killing a person lying before you helplessly would have been really tough.

yes now i'm getting why did he stopped. But veerta abhi se hi bhari hai pratap me, bachpan se hi jo itna himmat wala ho, k akele shams khan aur uske saath wale ko mar giraya wo aage ja k kitna bahadur hoga. Even bhatiyani realized today after seeing pratap how brave he is, the shine on his face today was divine.. Pratap is a gem.. Sach me jo takrayega unse wo ni bachega. Proud to have a person like him born to india

as far as stabbing shams is concerned, he's a kid, he havnt did this, even during war, he was avoiding it but its his start he has thrown away all his jhijhal after this
