Not yet zariyat i'm really not getting time. Want to read it in a gud mood. But till i've read its awesome
Here's upto Scene 7:
Scene 1:
Royal Garden
One day, two small-cute kids of 6-7 years----one boy and one girl----are playing in a royal garden. The cute kids are the Shehzade Abu'l-Fath Jalal ud-din Muhammad Akbar I and Shehzadi Ruqaiya Sultan Begum, both were each other's best friend since childhood. Shehzade Jalal and Shehzadi Ruqaiya are playing hide-n-seek. Jalal hid behind a curtain and Ruqaiya is searching for him.
Ruqaiya: Jalal, humne tumhe dhund lia!
Jalal comes out of the curtain.
Jalal: Nehi! Tum ne hume nehi dhunda!
Ruqaiya: (laughing)Tab nehi dhunda tha par ab dhund lia!(laughing)
[Ruqaiya played prank so that Jalal comes out]
Jalal: (angry)Ye to galat hai! Ruqaiya tum humesha aisa natak karti ho humare saath!
Ruqaiya: Hum humesha natak karti hu aur tum bahar ajate ho...(laughing)Buddhu kahike!(laughing)
Jalal: (getting more angry)Buddhu? Ruqaiya tumne hume buddhu kaha! Ruqaiya tum aaj nehi bachne wali...(starts running behind Ruqaiya)
Ruqaiya: (running)Jalal, chahe tum jitni koshish karlo tum hume neh pakar sakte!
Jalal: (running)Chahiye jo hojaye aaj hum tumhe pakarke rahenge...
Jalal and Ruqaiya continues playing catching-catching. Sultanam Begum, Ruqaiya's mother and Hamida Bano Begum, Jalal's mother are watching them playing.
Hamida: Subhanallah! Subhanallah! Allah kare inn doo ki dosti aise hi barkarar rahe...
Sultanam smiles.
Scene 2:
Another day, Shehzadi Ruqaiya and Shehzade Jalal are sitting on two sides of a curtain. Salma Sultan Begum, Ruqaiya and Jalal's cousin is standing beside Ruqaiya.
Salma: Shehzade Abu'l-Fath Jalal ud-din Muhammad, kya aapko nikah qubul hai?
Jalal: Hume nikah qubul hai.
Salma: Shehzadi Ruqaiya Sultan, kya aapko nikah qubul hai?
Ruqaiya: Hume bhi nikah qubul hai.
Salma: Alhamdulillah! Mubarak ho, mubarak ho! Shehzadi Ruqaiya Sultan abse Shehzade Jalal ki Begum bangayi hai...
Jalal and Ruqaiya gets up from their seats and comes to Salma.
Ruqaiya: Bohot mazaa aya! Ye khel to bohot mazedar hai...
Jalal: Hume bhi bohot mazedar laga ye khel.
All three laughs. King Abu'l Muzaffar Nasir ud-din Muhammad Humayun and Hamida Bano Begum, Jalal's parents were noticing all this.
Humayun: Inn bachchoko lag raha hai ki "nikah" ke khel hai...
Hamida: Iss waqt ye sab bachche hai, bare hone ke baad inhe "nikah" ka asli matlab pata chal jayega...
Scene 3:
Royal Garden
[Now Jalal and Ruqaiya are 9 years old, and Salma is 3 years older to them]
Shehzade Jalal is plucking flowers from their royal garden. King Humayun, Jalal's father comes to him.
Humayun: Shehzade Jalal.
Jalal: (stops plucking flowers)Ji abbu-jaan?
Humayun: Ye tum kya kar rahe ho?
Jalal: Hum phul torr rahe hai.
Humayun: Phul? Kyun?
Jalal: Abbu-jaan, Shehzadi Ruqaiya ko ye phul bohot pasand hai. Aur kal humne unka ek gudiya todh dia tha, iss vo humse naraz hai. Hum Ruqaiya ke liye phul todh rahe hai. Shehzadi Ruqaiya humse naraz rahe ye humse bardashtt nehi hota.
Humayun: (smiles)Ye to bohot achchi baat hai ki tum tumhare dost ka itna khayal rakhte ho.
Jalal: Abbu-jaan, kya hum ja sakte hai?
Humayun: Haan haan jaiye.
Jalal takes the plucked flowers and went to Ruqaiya's room. Humayun smiles seeing Ruqaiya-Jalal's friendship.
Ruqaiya's room
Shehzadi Ruqaiya is playing with some dolls with her 2 friends, sitting on her royal bed.
Friend 1: Ruqaiya, tumhari pasandidar gudiya kaha hai?
Ruqaiya: Shehzade Jalal ne vo todh di...
Friend 2: Oh! Iss liye tum Jalal se naraz ho.
Ruqaiya: Haan. Ab mai usse kabhi baat nehi karungi!
A guard enters.
Guard: Gustakhi maaf, Shehzadi sahiba.
Ruqaiya: Boliye.
Guard: Shehzade Jalal aapse milna chahte hai.
Ruqaiya: (angry)Mujhe usse nehi milna! Use chale jane ke liye kahiye!
Guard: Par...
Ruqaiya: Aapne suna nehi humne kya kaha!(gets down from her bed and stands facing the window of the room)
Jalal enters the room as he knew that Ruqaiya won't agree to meet him. He signals the guard to leave. Ruqaiya's friends comes to him.
Friend 2: (whispers)Jalal, Ruqaiya tumse bohot naraz hai.
Friend 1: (whispers)Aaj to tumhari kher nehi...
Both the friends leaves. Jalal walks to Ruqaiya. Ruqaiya is scolding Jalal because she doesn't know Jalal is behind her.
Ruqaiya: Samajhta kya hai aapne aapko! Shehzade hai to jo marzi vo kar sakte hai! To ek baat bo bhi bhul raha hai...hum bhi Shehzadi hai, hum bhi jo marzi vo kar sakte hai. Dekhti hu vo humse kaise milta hai! Kabhi nehi baat karungi Jalal se!
Jalal is hearing all this and laughing silently.
Jalal: Itna gussa! Sidhe sidhe humse kyun nehi kehti.
Ruqaiya: (surprised and turns)Jalal tum!! Baki sab kaha gaye? Tum...tum andar kaise aye?
Jalal: Darwaze se.
Ruqaiya: Chale jao yaha se! Hume tumse baat nehi karni.
Jalal: Hum Shehzadi Ruqaiya ke khidmatt mei kuch pesh karna chahenge.
Ruqaiya: (angry)Ijazat nehi hai!!(folds hands across her chest)
Jalal: Tum ijazat do ya na do, hum to pesh zarur karenge.
Jalal holds the flowers in front of Ruqaiya.
Jalal: Mughal saltanat ke sabse khubsurat Shehzadi ke liye Shehzade Jalal ke taraf se ek choti si bhet suikar kia jay...
Ruqaiya smiles to hear all this and turns to see the gift.
Ruqaiya: (excited)Ye phul! Jalal, tumne ye phul mere liye laye!
Jalal: Tumhe ye phul pasand hai, iss mai inhe abhi abhi bagh mei se todh ke laye hai.
Seeing her favorite flowers Ruqaiya's anger almost vanished.
Ruqaiya: Bohot bohot shukria Jalal.
Jalal: Iss mei shukria ki kya baat hai. Kya hum Mughal saltanat ke khubsurat Shehzadi, Ruqaiya ke liye itna nehi kar sakte.
Both laughs.
Ruqaiya: Hum inhe humesha sambhalke rakhenge...
Scene 4:
[By the time, the news of Hindal Mirza, Ruqaiya's father's death came. Sultanam was shattered totally! As Ruqaiya is young, Humayun ordered everyone not to inform this to her. But Jalal knew this news.]
Humayun's room
Sultanam Begum, Hamida Bano Begum, Shehzade Jalal and Humayun are present.
Humayun: Shehzadi Ruqaiya abhi bhi bohot choti hai aur vo aapne walid-Hindal ki bohot karib thi, iss liye humne faisla lia hai ki Hindal ki mrittyu ki khabar Ruqaiya ko nehi bataya jay.
Hamida: Aap chinta matt kijiye. Isska dhyan hum rakhenge.
Humayun: Shehzade Jalal?
Jalal: Ji Abbu?
Humayun: Aap aur Shehzadi Ruqaiya bohot khaas dost hai. Zyada se zyada waqt aap dono ek saath bitate hai. Iss liye ye aapki zimmedari hai ki aapke dost ko ye khabar nehi pata chale.
Jalal: Ji Abbu. Hum aapsab se wada karte hai ki Shehzadi Ruqaiya ko kisi bhi tarha se ye khabar nehi pata chalega.
At this moment Jalal made a promise to himself that he won't let Ruqaiya sad/upset/cry at any cost, FOREVER...
Scene 5:
Hamida Bano is going somewhere, walking in the corridor. Shehzadi Ruqaiya is also going from there.
Ruqaiya: As-salamu-alaikum, Chachi-jaan.
Hamida: Walai-kum-as-salam, Shehzadi Ruqaiya. Aap kahi jaa rahi thi?
Ruqaiya: Vo hum Jalal se milne jaa rahe the.
Hamida: Jalal to abhi bhi nind mei hai. Hum gaye the unke kaksh mei.
Ruqaiya: Jalal ab bhi soo rahe hai! Aap chinta matt kijiye hum unhe abhi jagake ate hai...
Ruqaiya runs to Jalal's room.
Hamida: (smiles)Allah kare in donoki dosti aise hi barkarar rahe.
Jalal's room
Jalal is sleeping peacefully in his royal bed. Ruqaiya runs inside the room.
Ruqaiya: Jalal!!
[No answer]
Ruqaiya: (shaking Jalal)Jalal!!! Utho!!!
[No answer]
Ruqaiya sees a jug of water in the bed-side table.
Ruqaiya: (thinking, looking at the water-jug)Isske sivaye aur koi tarika nehi hai...
Ruqaiya: (pours the water from the jug on Jalal's head)Jalal utho!!!
Jalal wakes up, scared.
Jalal: (sitting up on the bed)Kya hua!!!
Ruqaiya starts laughing seeing Jalal scared.
Ruqaiya: (laughing)Itne mei hi dar gaye...
Jalal: Ruqaiya!!!(starts running behind Ruqaiya)Aise koi kisiko jagata hai kya!!!
Ruqaiya: (running from Jalal)Hum kya kare? Tum kisike bhi bulane pe jag nehi rahe the...hume aur koi tarika nehi suja...
Continuing the conversation, both ran out of Jalal's room and collides with Humayun, but nothing can stop Jalal-Ruqaiya from having fun.
Humayun is smiling looking at them. Gulbadhan Begum, Humayun's sister and Ruqaiya-Jalal's paternal aunt sees him smiling.
Gulbadhan: Kya baat hai bhai-jaan? Aap bachcho ko dekh kar aise muskurah kyun rahe hai?
Humayun: Gulbadhan, hum kuch soch rahe hai.
Gulbadhan: Kis bare mei?
Humayun: Ruqaiya aur Jalal ke bare mei...
Gulbadhan: Unke bare mei? Kya baat hai bhai-jaan?
Humayun: Hum sabko ek saath batayenge...
Humayun leaves and Gulbadhan follows him.
Scene 6:
Jalal's room
Jalal is lying in his bed and Hamida Bano is sitting beside him. Ruqaiya and Salma comes running in the room.
Salma: Jalal, tum iss waqt lete kyun ho?
Ruqaiya: Khel shuru hone se pehle haar maan gaye kya!(laughs)
Hamida: Nehi Shehzadi Ruqaiya...
Ruqaiya: To chachi-jaan, Shehzade Jalal ko hua kya hai?
Hamida: Shehzade Jalal ko bohot tezz bukhar hai...
Ruqaiya gets worried.
Ruqaiya: (worried)Kya! Jalal ko bukhar hai!
Ruqaiya checks Jalal's body-temperature with her hand.
Ruqaiya: Allah! Jalal ko to bohot tezz bukhar hai!
Jalal: Hum tum dono ke saath khel nehi payenge...
Ruqaiya: (concerned)Chup! Ekdam chup!! Iss halat mei tum khelne ke bare mei soch bhi kaise sakte ho!! jabtak tum bilkul thik nehi ho jate tabtak tum bistarse uthoge nehi!
Jalal: Par Ruqaiya...
Ruqaiya: Kya "Ruqaiya"! Tum bistarse nehi uthoge matlab nehi uthoge!
Jalal: Tumhare samne kabhi meri baat chala hai jo ab chalega...
All laughs.
Ruqaiya's room
Its "Zuhr" prayer time. Shehzadi Ruqaiya is performing Namaz/Salat.t the ending of Namaz, she turns her head towards the right-side and then the left-side saying Salam, and finishes the Namaz. Then she does Munazat and prays to Allah for Jalal's recovery.
Ruqaiya: (in Munazat)Hey Allah! Shehzade Jalal ko jald se jald pehle ki tarha thik kar dijiye...
After performing Salat, she visits Jalal.
Jalal's room
Jalal is lying on his bed, as usual. Ruqaiya sits beside him.
Ruqaiya: Ab tumhari tabyaat kaisi hai?
Jalal: Thik hu.
Ruqaiya keeps wet handkerchief on Jalal's forehead.
Ruqaiya: Pata hai Jalal. Mai abhi Namaz par kar ayi hu. Maine Allah se dua manga hai ki tum jaldi se thik ho jao.
Jalal: Tum mera kitna khayal rakhti ho.
Ruqaiya: Dua iss liye manga hai taki tum jaldi se thik hoke humare saath khel sakho. Nehito hum kiske saath khelenge?
Jalal: Iss mei bhi tum aapna fayda dekhti ho.
Ruqaiya: Haan aur kya!
Both laughs.
[All this is witnessed by Emperor Humayun]
Humayun: Ab mujhe yakin hogaya ki maine jo faisla lia hai vo galat nehi hai...(smiles)
Scene 7:
Sultanam's room
Sultanam is remembering Hindal and crying. Ruqaiya comes running with her broken doll(the doll which Jalal broke).
Ruqaiya: Ammi-jaan, hume aapse kuch kehna hai.
Sultanam: (not facing Ruqaiya)Boliye.
Ruqaiya: Jalal ne humare gudia tor dia tha. Iss liye hum aapse puchne aye the ki abbu kab arahe hai, taki hum unse humare liye ek nayi gudia lane ke liye keh sake.
[Sultanam's crying got increased]
Ruqaiya: Ammi, boliye na! Abbu kab arahe hai?
Sultanam: Ruqaiya hume akela chor do. Jao yahase!
Ruqaiya: Nehi! Aap pehle bataiye abbu kab arahe, phir hum jayenge.
Sultanam started getting angry due to Ruqaiya's continues questioning about Hindal's comeback.
[Sultanam turns to face Ruqaiya with anger and holds her left arm]
Sultanam: Kabhi nehi lautenge tumhare Abbu! Samjhi! Kabhi nehi lautenge!! Marr chuke hai vo!! Marr chuke hai!!
Little Shehzadi Ruqaiya is stunned to hear all this about the closest person to her on earth, her father! She broke into tears and leaves from there.
Royal Garden
Ruqaiya is crying BADLY and remembering her memories with her father, Hindal Mirza.
~Flashback starts~
Hindal Mirza is standing in the balcony, hiding something in his hand. 6-years-old-Shehzadi Ruqaiya comes running and jumps onto his arms.
Ruqaiya: Abbu! Aap kaha chalegaye the? Hum aapko kabse dhund rahe the. Kaha the aap?
Hindal: Are humari gudiya. Pehle aap hume bolne to do. Hum humari pyaari si Shehzadi ke liye ek pyaari si gudiya lane gaye the.(gives her the doll)
[Ruqaiya is elated to see the doll]
Ruqaiya: Wah! Abbu, ye gudiya bohot sundar hai, hume bohot achchi lagi. Aapka bohot bohot shukria!(hugs him)
~Flashback ends~
Ruqaiya is still crying. Humayun sees her and is going to her but stops seeing Jalal. Jalal comes to Ruqaiya and sits beside her.
Jalal: Kya hua Ruqaiya? Tum roo kyu rahi ho?
Ruqaiya couldn't control her crying and she hugs Jalal and cries more and more. Jalal tries to console her. Humayun witnesses all this.
Humayun: (in his mind)Humne jo faisla lia hai vo ekdam sahi hai. Ab samaih agaya hai sabko iss bare mei khabar karne ka.(smiles)
