Shouldn't Guddu know how to speak english and also behave in an appropriate manner because we can see that he does come from an educated family...its not like he went away from home when he was 5 so he must know something..and he def must have gone to skool

It's possible that maybe he dropped out of school...besides its not necessary that all schools teach English. Some schools in India are not English-medium based depending on where they are. He is intelligent that's for sure...but knowing English not knowing English isn't always a sign of education, knowing how to read and write is more pertaining to education than specifically knowing the language of English.

ur right that knowing english does not show that some1 is educated...but if some1 is educated they are not so uncomfortable with everything

It will be interesting to get a glimpse of Guddu's past, what made him stray away from his parents and become who he has become. I hope they show that storyline. It'll be interesting if Runjhun comes to know of it through Guddu trusting her and telling her.

I was asking myself the same question, but like Wafah explained he probably went to a school were they didn't teach english. And just like Runjhun said one should not feel like he is less important just because he doesn't speak english!
But I'm sure that when he was in school he was a good student because when they showed the flashback with his dad bringing the policemen to arrest him, his dad said that he had big dreams for him, well I think that he wouldn't have said that if Guddu had been a headache for his parents for all of his life!
But I also wish that they will give us more details about his past!
