| | | | Don't talk to me about love: Bhanujeet Sudan and Rucha Gujarathi | Another friendship bites the dust. Bhabhi co-stars Rucha Gujarati (Suhana) and Bhanujeet Sudan (Nihaal) are no longer on talking terms.
The longtime pals have stopped talking to and even stopped looking at each other, unless, of course, the camera needs them to.
When contacted, Bhanu begins diplomatically, "Rucha and I try to exchange pleasantries.
We don't have a great friendship going between us, but we are not enemies either."
When probed further, he says he is upset with Rucha's 'politics' and tales she has been spreading about him.
"I couldn't take it any longer. Even when I confronted her, she had her answers ready."
Enough is enough
Rucha, on the other hand, maintains, "Yes, Bhanujeet and I don't talk to each other. Earlier, we were best friends.
Suddenly, he started talking less and less to me. It came to a point where he started behaving as if I didn't exist.
Two weeks ago, I decided that I wasn't going to run after him and I started ignoring him. Surely, I have some self respect."
But a close friend of Rucha (on condition of anonymity) spills the beans.
"Rucha and Bhanujeet were over-friendly and Bhanu started having feelings for her.
He often told her he liked her, but Rucha thought he meant it as a friend. Later, she realised what was happening. She did not have romantic feelings for him, so she took a step back.
This irked Bhanujeet. Thereafter, things turned sour between them. Today, neither of them can't stand the other."
When asked if Bhanujeet was in love with her, Rucha says, "That's for Bhanujeet to answer."
Bhanujeet, refuses to admit his feelings for Rucha, saying, "We were just friends." |
