Though I didn't plan to return to acting I kept in touch with the producers of Bhabhi. They were quite keen that I come back into the show. And when I told them that I was coming on a long holiday to Mumbai, they decided to bring back Saroj and requested me to play the character." When she quit, Saroj was shown as becoming a sanyasin. Now she returns as the spiritual guru of the Chopra parivar, which is falling apart because of the growing tension between Nehal and Megha. "Gradually the character will lead a normal life and become an important member of the family," reveals Dolly. When asked what her husband has to say about this she says, "I have taken his permission to work in serials and I will be shutting between Mumbai and Canada every six months. I am open to good roles and am looking at doing some good work," adding that she misses her husband a lot. "But we are in touch and speak on the phone twice every day." It seems Dolly is madly in love with both acting and her husband and can't do without either of them. |
