Shilpa's shortcomings or faults as an actress who left show is another matter...but what she says is unfortunately correct. The new chick copies not only her dialogues letter by letter and word by word but even gestures...full copy cat.

Completely disagree, the dialogues and one-liners of Angoori's character such as sahi pakde hai, bhabhooti ji or wrong english etc are not trademark of Shilpa but Angoori.. so claim of copying dialogues is utterly rubbish, its the writer who should gets credit of writing such witty lines.

Shilpa no doubt is a good actress but when she started playing the character she had no example to follow but when Shubhangi started, she already had an established character and in initial episodes she might have followed shilpa's mannerism inadvertently... but now we can see that she is trying hard to deliver dialogues in her own style. but obviously she can't be entirely different because general audience have already an image of angoori built in their hearts and minds..

I found her efforts brilliant 👏👏 as its very difficult to play such a character which has a very trademark, predictable and typical way of reacting in each situation, typical way of delivering dialogues, typical one liners, .. Angoori is not any other lead actress in a daily soap where all you need to do is to cry and please your saas & sasural.

May be you did not get my point...even if certain features are trade marks of Angoori ,
one need not copy, word by word, gesture b gesture and frame by frame...it looks made
up and fake...not spontaneous and tryign too hard but failing and too obvious...Shilpa as a person may be irresponsible and the Atre woman may be a good human being...I am not talking on that...it is also good that she is new...but she seems fake for complete faking and blind copying...she needs to bring up something original along with good acting along with the trade mark thingi.

No one is irreplaceable...bigger names and better actors have been replaced...viewers sulk for a while then accept the change and move on (more often than not)...I don't see any consistency in shilpa's interviews except her persistent bitterness...shubhangi has done a decent job...there is scope for improvement (strictly my POV)...time and experience will ease things for her...as for Shilpa...bhabhiji ship has sailed away, hope she manages to get media space courtesy new project and good work...all the best...

I am okay with replacements...as long as the replacement acts convincingly...what I am talking about here is not a opposition to replacement but about the choosing of an incompetent actor as Angoori who cannot play the role well, so if someone else can and I do not feel like she is faking, then I am okay with it.

Fortunately, many of us would disagree with you on this. Many of us found Shubhangi very competent. so its your individual choice... she is playing the role quite well. and she is very decent actor.

It is also your individual choice...but fact is what Shilpa says is 100 pecent true...she has no originality and she copies shilpa like a clone...a copy cat cant be a good actor...may be you are unable to see that she has no originality and she copies shilpa's gestures even...even if some dialogues are angoori's, gestures are of original actress. she tries sex appeal to compensate for her lack of acting skills by exposing much.
