I would blame janhvi more than Ashwin now for creating maya what she is today...

Some people believe that it is ok for jhanvi to behave the way that she did with Maya because of what Maya did to her...and i don't deny that...but I also understand why people have a problem with it...I mean if you can love your husband ever after he committed the same crimes...why can't your forgive your daughter...after ashwins death..jhanvi was to busy crying out ..I love you Ashwin ...I love you Ashwin ..but after Maya has been sentenced to death she goes and makes everyone keer...she's a hypocrite.

this is strange...Jhanvi never stood up against ashwin..when he used to abuse her & tried to kill her...once or twice maya has saved her frm ashwin but inspite of that jhanvi never stopped loving ashwin!! & now she's standing against her daughter!! i wish she should have shown this kind of bravery when ashwin used to torture both of them

Exactly, Ashwin tried to kill Jhanvi many times. One of the examples was he gave her plenty of sweets knowing she is diabetic. Second thing is when Jhanvi took the gun to shoot Ashwin for trying to stop Maya's wedding which means that she too wanted him dead. I don't see any point in her blaming Maya.

@bold: Well said. You have said the same thing as I have in my earlier posts in different words. That is what Maya wanted from Jhanvi in her childhood. Had she done that, Maya would not even have caged her after she became big. She wouldn't have been so insecure. True love cures 60 to 80 percent of mental illness. When parents cannot tolerate her, how will the outside world tolerate her?

@bold: Weak support wasn't enough. She needed a strong support. Jhanvi is a black spot in the name of a mother. Does she even know what is the meaning of being a mother? A mother is the one who can & will do anything for her child. She fights the world including her husband for the child. When she senses any danger that is going to come on her child, she gets prepared for the worst. She even gives her life for the child. She becomes a shield for her child against any evil, even if it is her own brother or husband. Arjun always called Jhanvi as aunty even after he got married to Maya. When it took time for him to accept Vandana as his mom, how can he accept Jhanvi as his mom?

Where did you get this data that true love cures 60-80 percent of mental illness?

After watching Maya's actions fairy closely, I'm almost certain that she was a born psychopath. Notwithstanding the cruelty she faced at her impressionable age, there was a way for her to redeem herself and resolve her issues. However, that's a moot point and the contribution Ashwin's violent streak made to Maya's deterioration is irrefutable.
