@shurthi...so as i told i had gut feeling of that lalwani..he'll be return..everything is connecting now..😉..btw i watched the whole episode in 10 min 😆 thank you so much maya..at last you became yourself again..i still remember, maya telling arjun that she has lost her heart in love...but her brain still remains😆 maan gaya..maya aaj to matlab proof hi kar diya aap ne..and guess what vikram and pandit's mystery is coming up..

@Lecter do you remeber? lalwani in season 1? he accused arjun for stealing designs but later arjun and maya found out that lalwani was the one who stole designs..and maya fired lalwani from her company..that all was just a plan of maya back then..to know arjun's motive..whether he's loyal to maya or not..and she came to know he's at least loyal to her..

but one thing doesn't make sense abt lalwani...why did he work with ashwin then if he is so loyal and cares for maya? should we call this another unreasonable blooper by the cvs or what?

@Alex you always need a spy in the opposite side and the spy has to prove credentials. Lalwani fitted the bill 😃.

@factfictionmyth yes you had told, I remember and I had a guess too and I knew that was a test, but the question was to what extend Lalwani was involved. Maya had done many tests of Arjun before proposing him. Mostly his integrity. She had checked his actions than dialogues. Also battle is not Arjun vs Maya. It is Saanjh vs Maya and Arjun vs Samay. 😃. Saanjh and Maya are attackers and Arjun and Samay defense. Samay the invisible defense. That's where season 2 will come Samay puncturing Arjun's tyres.😆😆

@Ashvarna yes she started playing victim. As if it was necessary to go and claim to Maya post her death she will marry Arjun.

When once again is once again . . .

Once again, we are seeing a mutka breaking behind the bars of prison,while a heart breaking within!
Once again, we have witnessed -an erasing of tattoo etched on the body even as the memories etched in the mind are too difficult to erase!
Once again we are shown that a mysterious courier gets delivered, but with a difference!
Last time an about -to-be-a-widow received a delivery- a bridal's wear- a Lal saree & good bangles!
Now, an about -to-be-a-bride receives a delivery - a widow's wear -a White saree & broken bangles!
What more? once again, we may have the privilege of seeing another death convict escaping, as Maya once again chosen life over death!
Has the Gold fish now finally resolved to go all alone in life without its mate?

What remains to be seen further is . . .
Will Maya change her colors- from white to black, once again?
She has chosen once again an aide to wage her war with Arjun, so, a hot pursuit of dusky & duffer is very much on cards!Lalwani replaces Rajiv! The only thing common between them was they were shown initially as some kind of crooked guys but later they got projected as if it was all part of Maya's plan!
The revenge track is back once again, this time it is Maya's turn as Arjun's quota got over!
Will duffer & dusky go once again in disguise to escape maya's wrath & bid on their life! Last time they were in elder couples' costume at mental asylum, well, this time . . . any guesses?
The CVs are all set to repeat same old things, yet with some minor changes for approaching climax track when the revenge track ends!
For example, last time it was Saanjun's budding love -that was the back drop of revenge track!
This time it could be Saanjun's wedding sequence- that may be the new back drop of this revenge bid!

Awesome thread Sruthi Di... I haven't been in this forum much though i love the show...I stopped watching the show 2 months back...it was too painful to watch Maya sink into insanity...killing her own soul little by little...it is only by accident that I watched the show on Monday...and bang...Maya is back...once again she begins a game of illusions and this time she has nothing to lose since the only thing she feared losing is already taken from her...her Arjun...now it's Saanjh's turn.

As always ur analysis is awesome.

It is funny to see Saanjh claim that Arjun was always hers and Maya came between them. No, Arjun was never hers. Arjun 's Maya may have been a illusion the person Maya had cast but it is that Maya that Arjun fell in love with. Not for a moment did he belong to Saanjh even before Maya entered his life. She was never his love. He was hers. It was her idea that Arjun was hers supported by Vandana and Suman. As her father tells her soon after ArYa proposal. Arjun belongs to Maya. Saanjh knows that, yet she cannot let go of him completely. I don't say that Maya is innocinnocent. Definitely not. She is crazy and manipulative. Maya outside the illusion, as shown is season 2, suffocates Arjun. Yet she still has power over him. For 3 years he told her he hated her. He wants to run away from her. Yet he drifts back to her when she is hurt. When he thinks that Ayan had forced Maya, he goes against everything he wanted and comes back to her. Again and again Maya brings him back to herself. Even now at the hospital she does it. He is in her power always.

Saanjh seems to overlook all this. She forgets that it is always she who goes to Arjun and never the other way round. Her power is their friendship but can that fight Maya? Arjun' s love for her is born in retaliation to everything Maya did. Arjun values her for standing by him through the worst. But will that suffice?

To make things worse she has challenged Maya. Maya is now ready to strike and every time Maya strikes Saanjh has lost something. But then Maya too had something to lose. But now maya is free. She will strike with all she has. No limitations, No fear.

@chemgirl what Maya said on Monday episode I was expecting 2 months back. If Saanjh tries to take the place of Maya, Arjun will be finished.

It was always like that for Maya. Maya never objected Saanjh the friend, she only objected the woman who was trying to take her place. Even in marriage in season 1 till Saanjh steps from mandap Maya is sane, only when Arjun goes and hugs Saanjh leaving the ghatbandhan she puts fire to the mandap.

So she crosses the line in reaction to that Dusky-Duffer toxic friendship crossing the line. CVs had always kept Maya a reactionary force. Even during godhbarai Maya goes beserk after Arjun takes Saanjh's hand leaving her with Ayan. I dont know which pregnant woman who is about to give birth will tolerate that insensitivity from her husband. Maya maybe extreme but no sane woman will tolerate Duffer-Dusky friendship which has no limits.

Maya's biggest fear was losing her loved ones, Jhanvi to Ashwin, Arjun to Saanjh and she was afraid to be alone in that darkroom. Now she has lost both. She stayed in the dark room put by that jailor. She has nothing to lose, no more facade to maintain.

Once again she is Maya, a woman who has survived Ashwin Mehrotra, but got Jhanvi as a baggage. Now her baggage is gone. It is her fight to survive once again in the hypocritical world.

Coming to Saanjh. If Arjun managed to come alive out of the jail it was courtesy Maya. No Saanjeshwari Devi was waiting for his death. It is him remembering each and everything of Maya decides to take the chance of breaking the jail and give life a chance. Maya was the force that made him do it.

Then did you notice one more thing. Arjun hears Saanjh, but feels Maya. When they were in search of Maya, with a touch Arjun recognized her, while Saanjh has to scream out Arjun when he was taken out of freezer.

Maya's attacks are always in retaliation. As a child she didn't just face avide but also rejection. A child looks up to its parents for approval and support. But Maya never got care or protection. Ashwin hurt her. And Jhanvi despite her love for her daughter was weak. Even though she left Ashwin she was still under his influence. She keeps going back to Ashwin and trusting him. Even enough to risk her own life , not thinking how Maya will feel. So Maya suffers from the insecurity that she is never anyone's first priority.

Then comes Arjun. He protects her and fights for her. He doesn't care for her money. She decides that she will have him and she does. He stands by her. He is everything she wished for. And then she sees Saanjh. She is insecure, more so as she realizes something he hasn't. Saanjh loves him. Very subtly she conveys that he is only hers. She would have liked to get rid of Saanjh but she knows she is a part of her Arjun's life. So she tells Saanjh that they both have their own place in Arjun 's life and he will be happy as long as they both remain where they should.

She starts a new life with Arjun. Maya is insane but she is capable of keeping the illusion Maya as long as she needs. But when Vandana goes against her , she decides to keep her away no matter what. She manipulates and Vandana only helps her unknowingly. She doesn't mind Saanjh the friend but she realizes that she can never ensure that Saanj and Arjun will be in the limits she sets. She fears that Saanjh will take her place and she plays her hand. Shrewdly she seperated them and Saanjh knows this.

Again Saanjh returns and Maya on seeing her at the jewellery shop growsgrows insecure. Arjun already wants to run away and she fears Saanjh 's presence will take him away. Arjun grabs the first opportunity to relieve himself of her. She retaliates. One step to bring back Arjun to her at any cost.

This goes on and on in a circle. Till now. But now Maya is not fighting for Arjun. She is fighting for revenge. She can strike out and out now. And I am waiting to see what Maya will do .

And yes Sruthi Di Arjun feels Maya and hears Saanjh. Maya's place will never be Saanjh's. Maya holds a certain influence over him. Maya never had to make Arjun choose. She knew that one way or other he will come to her.

In the novel Gone Girl too the female protagonist Amy says this right? She knows the power she has over Nick.

@chemgirl till now Saanjh has always manipulated Maya stepping on her Achilles heel, fear of losing Arjun. Remember that arrogant smile she gives to Maya on her engagement latching on to Arjun's arm.

She had always used it. In Monday episode Maya tells to Saanjh she will not be able to destroy the memories of Maya in Arjun's heart. See it was always told why Maya couldnt manage Arjun in 3 yrs of their marriage when none was there. Answer is memories. Memories of Saanjh. It happens when Maya asks Arjun post Prem's death he will have to chose one friendship or love as she doesnt know where friendship ends and love starts. Arjun comes to Maya, but his thoughts are lost in Saanjh resulting in 3 burned eggs. How can a woman be secure in a relation where a man thinks about another woman and needs her presence. And the concerned woman is not having platonic feeling for her husband

Now Arjun cease to be Maya's weakness, she has realized it is controlling her, using her, her heart has become her weakness. She became a criminal while he is thinking of having life with another woman. Why should she be in jail for such a man. Remove the memories, break free. She has done exactly that.
