So, what is it surprising now, if her intention was not to punish Samay but foolishly (or tactically, one is no sure!)to go and meet him as a sitting duck, with no meaningful defence?

What is the big idea here, if any?

Is she planning to get him arrested, in stead of killing him (anyway she is not suitably armed!) or even getting married to Saanjh? Did she get the wind that Saanjh is on Samay's trail , so she decided to change the track?

Maya dint want to kill samay for her motives. Her motive is to keep saanjh away from arjun that's why she planted samay in saanjh s life. So obviously after prem getting killed and something happens to Samay then doubt may come on maya. She just wanted to scare and control him and then use him.

Maya has stopped making sense since a long time. Today's episode was just a filler with regards to storyline except for one revelation that Samay has been stalking Maya for the past 8 years and that he had tried to kill Arjun.

That is making no sense at all! You are right! Not just Maya but the track & storyline is failing to make any sense!
If Samay is having proof of Maya murdering Ashwin, why he kept Arjun's belongings near murder spot (I am assuming it was Samay!) in stead of stopping the marriage by blackmailing Maya!
Why did he allow the space for ArYa three plus years, if he was holding all Aces?
Why did he agree to lure Saanjh, if he is having Maya under his thumb?
Why was he supporting her in trapping Ayaan while he had already enough evidences hand-full?

The logical explanation ( should we really attempt to look for logic or reasoning anymore?)if at all any- could be, to have a sort of fait accompli to deal with maya!

Let Maya win against Ashwin & have the shares & company under her control!
Let Maya marry Arjun or anyone she wants!
Let Maya even raise a child & family of her own!
Let any number of persons get killed or ruined for life for crossing their path!
Even if Maya wants, be ready to marry Saanjh- a facade of Shadhi to ruin her life!

But Maya has to oblige him every time 'compensating with' what he wants!

Is that the deal between the two psychos for past so many years?

That means right from the 1st episode of beyhadh, samay was stalking Maya...when there was no arjun in her life...what was he doing then? He never approached her?

And what about maya's sach? If samay is that mystery, then it's my fault that I wasted my time as a viewer and keeping high expectations.😕

A desperate Maya needed help & was ready to deal with a crook, in order to secure her life & also an assured living by defeating Ashwin in his games!
Then, the Maya -an aspiring business woman-that she was ready to continue her 'business deals' with her tormentor turned puppet for next 5 years, till she met Arjun!
She did not hesitate to use him again to block Saanjh from Arjun's life!
Perhaps, she hoped Saanjh would stop Samay after her marriage with him!
But Samay has no such qualms!
Shadhi is no barrier for him to get at, if he wants!
When he declared on her face that he attempted to kill Arjun, she did not get at his throat! This Maya is different from the one we saw during gold-fish conversation! She is soft pedaling on Samay!
It is intriguing why Maya is playing with him, instead of attempting to kill him!

But she never forced arjun to get physical with her, she could have done that past 3 years and maya's love is not lust...the main plot of the series is maya's love towards arjun, whatever she did was beyhadh...that is the show all about...but it's definitely not lust.

Yeah Maya's love is not lust. I remember in Season 1 when Arjun tried to kiss her she would find ways to back off and refuse telling him to wait till their wedding was solemnized.

Her love has turned to obsession but it is not lust unlike the lecherous Samay who has only lust for her.

I wish to state this on record! I am not hating any character including Maya or even Samay!
But I do take a critical position on merit, upto a certain limit! After that, I do not wish to take arguments further!
It is just a debate always using logic or reasoning and if I can help myself adding a little bit of fun, all that more good! And certainly, have no intention to hurt or mock at anyone's sentiments!
