What is the point of this show?

So just caught up on the episodes and here are some thoughts. First of all, I'd like to start by saying that while I believed Maya's rape story based on the evidence provided to us at that time, now that the real narrative has been established, I totally condemn Maya's actions and her as a character. False rape accusations are never justified, regardless of mental illness, especially since they only further detract from the validity of those who have actually been victimized in that way. Shame on the CVs for choosing this route to characterize Maya. Secondly, what even is the point of this show anymore? Knowing that Maya framed Ayan whole-heartedly in a premeditated manner, I honestly don't see any sort of redemption for her at all. But then where does that leave us with whom to root for? Self-righteous Saanjh? Immature Arjun? Or superstitious Vandana? At this point, the only people worth rooting for are the secondary characters who we hope don't get dragged into the chaos created by this ridiculous situation.
