Many shows started with promising story line and interesting concept but along the way many of them lost the basic concept of the show.

So suggest some shows that maintained their original concept till the very end of the show.

You can also name shows that failed to do so.

P.S.: Just an off show topic because right now the show is driving me crazy. 😊

I think most indefinite series have faced this problem at a certain point of time. This would include all those shows that have been airing for over half a decade, or just anymore than a couple of years in all honesty. [No names because I don't want to be the one starting fan wars]

All well-planned finite series have done pretty well in maintaining their storyline - Ek Hasina Thi, Gulmohar Grand and Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha are some examples.

There was a show called Laut Aao Trisha on Life Ok channel. It was suspense/mystery type of show, it started nicely but they messed up BIG time somewhere in the middle of the show. Abroupt/incomplete/weird ending to the original story and stated doing crime investigation, new case each episode.

Another one is Airlines on Star Plus, I would not say they did not stick to the concept but it was supposed to be 26 episodes show but due to trp, it ended with 20 episodes, therefore killed the story with a rush ending and few unsolved mysteries.

Good show...there are few. Eg. Gulmohar Grand (Star Plus), Private Investigator (Star Plus), Bhaskar Bharti (sony tv) [have stick to the concept but ending...], Jeannie Aur Juju (Sabtv), pyar ki ye ek kahaani (star one), etc...

Dehleez, Ek hasina thi were finite shows and stuck to the original concept till the end.

Many promising shows have went off-track after a while such as Kuch toh log kahenge, Punar Vivah, Ishqbaaz

Maahi Vey, Rishta.com, Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, and most recently P.o.W out of all the shows I've watched!

Even Ek Duje Ke Vaaste was very good for the most part.

Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai was a sit-com having a different story in each episode, they didn't have to worry much about continuity. Did you know they're releasing a season 2 web-series that's said to be out on 16th May, I can't wait!!

There was a show currently running on SP koi laut k aya is also promising till now

Yeah, even I am eagerly waiting for Sarabhai , Big fan of it and brings back childhood memories too.
Loved Maya v/s Monisha in it!

I'm a fan too, that's another Maya I adore. They released the trailer 3 hours back, have you seen it?
