Saanjs obsession

Most people would try to reason with their spouses, and discuss their concerns with them.
Maya manipulates Arjun and everyone one to get what she wants.

That's where the problem lies.

And coming to maya she has given chance to sanjh-arjun friendship & respected it but they took it for granted and went beyond limits .

From that point of view Maya is justified in wanting to keep Arjun away from Sanjh.But her ways are not.Had Maya been what the society terms as 'normal' she would have reasoned with Arjun and explained her point of view to him.Then Arjun's decision would have decided and molded her next move.
Now,if we imagine Maya normal and think she followed those
steps,then what would Arjun do?From what I understand about Arjun he would have paid no real heed to Maya.Because he has a habit of taking things and people for granted.He always took and still takes Sanjh for graned.If Maya were to be normal,he would treat her the same.
So,what a normal wife would do in that situation?
1.Get ignored by her husband and accept the situation.
2.Fight with husband and let their marital life suffer(Sadly most would do this until the husband gives up that friend)
3.Take the responsibility to make her husband mature and understanding by taking some serious crap and doing something crappy(This would be the universally accepted and expected step,because true love comes with pain).
