Both Maya and Ayaan were at faults today. It looked like attempted rape to me, though for a moment I thought that Maya might be faking it too. She wasn't. At the same time, tying someone up against his/her will is an offence too.
Question is for how long will this 'tit for tat' continue? It's getting beyond ridiculous and going in circles.

Yes he didn't r**e her nor that was his intention, but he wasn't innocent either, physically assaulting a girl is no way justified

Yep, that's what I got out of the scene. Maya's dialogue you look smart but you are not, pretty much sums it up. She is very good at calculating how people will react to situations. She knew very well ayan will do whatever it takes to open that door and get Arjun out. Ayan's reaction when maya said he attempted rape says clearly that was the last thing in his mind. But still he cannot touch maya the way he did.

Once again the writers had kept it open in such a way that audience can take whatever conclusion they want out of what they shown. Half the audience will be like rape attempt happened and half would be like it was not rape attempt. And people will start going for each other's throats in the forum 😆

Whether Maya was faking or not is questionable but Ayan was not attempting to r**e

Please read what I said again.

"while an innocent person is charged with rape?"

Ayan is innocent with respect to what he was arrested for. If I steal something from a store, and I get arrested for robbing someone's house, I am innocent as I did not rob their house.

I never said he was completely innocent and did nothing wrong.

@bold agree completely that pretty much gives a clear picture
I have to applaud the writers and directors actually what a smartly presented episode one needs to watch very closely to know what actually was happening👏
@bold 2 dangal hoga😆
I wish people could have healthy debate

What Ayaan did was wrong. Even if he didn't intend to rape, he did physically assault Maya and that is a crime. And I agree that what Maya did was also wrong... the way she drugged Arjun and tied him up like that was wrong on so many levels. She being a victim of Ayaan's behaviour doesn't wipe away what she did to Arjun.

He was forcing himself on her. It is an attempt to rape according to me.
What @TM asked was whether Maya should get away with what she did to Arjun; my answer to that is no. Tying someone up forcefully is equally wrong as raping someone. Though, I believe she would get away with what she did again, as in the very next scene Samay looked concerned for her. It's a question about perceptions, even police didn't believe Ayaan..can you expect audience to believe him with only 'mein ne nahi kia?' Unless there is some circumstantial evidence to prove otherwise, blame will go Ayaan.
