Now compare this with Maya the child. She was stuck with Ashwin and his abusive ways. Did not have any support from her mother or anyone else. What would she have undergone? VM knew about Maya the child and had no pity when Maya came to her house. She was clouded by her perceptions.

She treated her in an inhumane way. There was no opportunity given for Maya to change. Now VM is coming and living with Maya expecting to break Maya. What really will be her defense mechanism? Self preservation is the first human instinct when a person is in trouble. And it was the same self preservation with a saddistic twist in Maya that came to the fore.

Here was Maya in a happy zone with Arjun and Jhanvi back in their respective places... that is her perceived lifeline. And VM and Saanjh threaten that lifeline. But this time her fight is going to anyway destroy her castle. Where would that get Maya?

Cause I see Arjun finally betraying and leaving Maya. Maybe Jhanvi too... and Samay coming to Maya.

Maya had a lot of issues in her life in season 1 but she did not cross the line. Season 2 without Ganesha and with Arjun she has crossed her limits. Will being with Samay remove the toxicity? Hope the cvs bring that part soon...

Want to see how exactly Maya is going to metamorph.

I see her saying "What does not kill me only makes me stronger" 😛

Maya deserves to go through hell for what she did today. And I want that hell to be handed to her by none other than Arjun. She should be put in a place where she cannot escape Life by choosing Suicide.

She should face isolation in the true sense and crave for Death, but the Grim Reaper should elude her every single time.

But before any of that happens, her Pride needs to be crushed. And I want Saanjh to be the one doing the honors; because I want her ego to face a crushing defeat. Only and only Saanjh can truly go for her jugular in that sense.

Her raw, bloody soul should be dragged out in the public view. No, not the 'sympathy-drawing' drama that she executed with such elan in the courtroom.

I want her to, what you call 'lose her shit' in full view of the public. Let her be 'naked' in the true sense. Let people finally see the naked Maya Mehrotra in all her bloodied glory; her sores, her wounds, her raw welts which still ooze fresh pus. It should be there out for all to witness. It would be like beholding Marley's Ghost with the chain of ledgers tied to him with iron shackles.

It's high time her facade is torn; the rest can follow with time.

I watch episodes of Savdhan India. What Maya does is nothing compared to those real life incidents. Even in that case only some jail term is given. There was a crazy episode where a taxi driver drugs his passengers at a particular point, robs them and then puts them near a river. The crocodiles in the river feeds on them and it is told that crocodiles ate people. You cannot punish crocodiles naa. And when he was caught he told he fed 28 people to crocodiles like that 🤢, imagine people who are simple travellers, people with whom he had no enemity. Feeding them to crocodiles just to get some money.

@krystal have you read Mary Higgins Clarke books. Read " A Stranger is watching " and " You Belong to me", especially You Belong to me. It's something, the dark suspense leaves you spell bound. Her stories are mostly psychological thrillers.

@aditi I have not watched this sowbhagyavati bhava. And for some time Indian TV didnt even had proper thrillers.

I am surprised to see that you take these Savdhan India episodes to be true 😡 ?? NO, Shrutiravi they are NOT...these are all just made up stories ...when this programme started , then for almost a year the episodes were based on true stories but after that first year , things changed...everything you see on SI is ABSOULUTLY made up fiction . I can say this with 100% authencity . I will not reveal my source but what I have stated is THE TRUTH.

I love Savdhan India. Yeah, the authenticity is far less in comparison to Crime Patrol or say, a Gumrah. The sets are almost always glamorous, some of the characters larger-than-life, and the Police would almost always arrive at the end in a filmy-style.

A lot of the stories on SI are made up, that too in a quite evident fashion.

But what makes it stand apart are the riveting stories it has to tell, the familiarity of the crimes, the realness of the emotions that we feel run through us when we watch an episode. It's presented in a crime thriller format, and they are damn good at hiding the actual culprit in the manner of a Carr, Christie or even Sheldon.

That's what binds me to it. The stories and the actors who enact them. And the fact that the crimes portrayed are depressingly real and ring far too many bells.
