Beyhadh TRP - Page 3

I checked this week's TRP for the Sony Channel. In terms of fiction shows( non mytho, non historical) Beyhadh is highest and has remained on par with Kuch Rang Pyar ke Aise Bhi.

Actually the highest trp for Beyhadh was the first week it started
Beyhadh had 0.9 in its first week which was very good
But after that it was 0.7 constantly

Sony gets TRPs mostly for their reality shows and mytho/ historicals. Beyhadh is having one of the best ratings for a non-historical/mytho story in Sony.

You can check the history of channel in past couple of years. Most high rated shows were Maharana pratap, Surya putra Karn, Hanuman etc etc...

Coming to Kuch Rang Pyaar ke it is not Erica who is running it mostly, it has a male lead Shaheer Sheikh who has got a lot of fans and another veteran actress in Supriya Pilgaonkar.

Jenny is literally carrying Beyhadh on her shoulders and she is doing a good job. The only other actor who was doing a great job was Rajesh Khaatarji as Ashwin and he is no more.

Just saw a spoiler that Maya will trap Arjun using VM etc ...

If we get to see VM & family back again, what does it mean? CVs care for TRPs or not!

Or It is their conviction that Saas -Bahu drama in Beyhadh will bring back TRP Aunties to root for the show!

April drama will involve lots of VM ! Sharmas will be back in action, of course against Maya!

@haritha Beyhadh is surviving because it is Sony. Any other channel would have murdered the content by now for TRPs.

Season 2 ArYa scenes are better watchable only, in online channels/ or Internet TV when you have young children around, at home!

Or, it is ideal for Family viewing at prime time on your living room TV!

Suggest someone conducts some kind of poll! Sony TV will get some good feed back from their audience!

The YT epis are currently being "censored"- the violent parts from Maya's suicide attempt, smashing the vase on her head and Arjun slitting his throat were all absent from yesterday's official upload.

As a mature adult, I personally have no problems- none of the lovey scenes are going too overboard, but I can understand why it could be uncomfortable for some.

Usually, TRP movement in a certain range, may not affect the longevity of finite series show like this!

But Beyhadh has completed almost half of its journey!And except for opening week (0.8), it never crossed 0.7, so far, in its journey!

The show is definitely not a leader among Sony TV's weekly shows!

will be interesting to see if Sony TV is still planing to support the
show with aggressive promo pitch, as it happened in the beginning!

The IPL season is around the corner! Not a good news, if the show is not picking up!

One does not wish to see a reduction in number of episodes!

The Season 1 ending at 115 as against expected 130, is not very encouraging!

Hope, the show does not close earlier than expected!

It got 0.9 for one week. I am damn sure because SalilSand tweeted about this 😆

The subject under debate is Televison Rating Points and hence my question

does comfort level of family audience matter? Does it matter really for Channel to garner support from families for the show?
Or, Sensationalism & media hype around that, will do the trick for them & rope in some corporate advertisers to support/sponsor!
