For the future too, I suggest that we press Report for any post which bashes characters or members instead of getting into arguments with them.

Got a few things to say.

Rape is having sexual intercourse without the person's consent, and yes one of its clauses say, if the person is forced to have sex under intoxication, it's rape.

Marital rape is a common scenario in India. And men being intoxicated, and then having forced to make a woman pregnant so that later she can claim his property with the child is no big deal.

Though the term rape is used for women mostly, in no way is the above thing not a rape.

As far as the present scenario is concerned, we cannot just hope that all of a sudden arjun is seduced so much that he'll get physical with maya after two long years. For most of the reasons it's almost a forced sex, doesn't matter if they are husband and wife.

I am not highly aware of the rules of this forum but I don't much believe that the word rape could instigate people so much to abuse a fellow member for nothing. Arjun in world doesn't even exist but the girl does and in no way can it be tolerated that she's being abused or even talked of being raped because that's for sure not a pleasing experience.

Regarding some members who stand against the word rape, I would like them to stand against posts where another character of the show is constantly foulmouthed. If that is only for the sake of characters who are non existent, even this is.

@bold: so aptly put forth.

There is no comparison between perceiving a fictional scene as rape and mocking a real person of getting raped. In all fairness the member didn't name call any character as she didn't use the word rapist, she merely speculated a scene as rape just like rest all were speculating it as seduction, love etc.
