Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. You'd think he'd contact his family or Saanjh after realising he made a mistake. But i suppose Arjun feels he messed up so badly that there's no going back and doesnt know how he will face them.. so hes stuck.

This question bothers me as well.. He does not even seem to miss them either.. Of all the characters he confuses the most ... 😕

This second season has gotten me thinking so much about arjun and maya relationship. i remeber the kind of love he had for maya in the starting in Mauritius and around their wedding time, their haldi scene, like he loved her so much. im thinking even if he got to know maya's psycho side he should help her because at one point he did love her, im shocked by the way he's behaving with her, abusing her, calling her such names "Bhootni" 😲, he sounds still so immature. the scene after the ring fight when they come back home and maya is walking after him and how he shuts the door on her face and she gets hurt, i felt so bad for her. i remembered the arjun when he was with her everytime ashiwin bothered or abused her, when arjun felt bad about her past. what happened to that arjun?! 😭. if he knows maya separated him from his family because i remember first epi of this season he said something like"maine apno ka yakeen nahi kiya" he should go back to his family. i dont know how he's tied in a jail when he's going outside doing everything, drinking and all.. he could talk to his family. everythings so confusing in arjun maya relationship. i hope the new entry idk his name bring happiness to mayas life and changes her, i hope maya become the maya we had in the begining of the show, i hope maya brings arjun down to his level where he was before.
