the first thing we need to know what happened in all this 3 years that arjun has formed an hatred for maya...and maya has become so obsessed with him...as we all know arjun has no contact with his mom...ayan and saanjh...all his relationships has been broken...all those people who are close to him...the doors are closed...it was ArYa only for all 3 yrs...what happened in that 3 yrs for ArYa...that their relationship is going through a rough patch...

Slamming the door on her face hurt her, even though that was unintentional.. but yeah! I am not sure whether he actually hit her behind close doors.. knowing Maya, its very much possible that she tried to hurt herself and in the hope that Arjun will save/sympathize with her said ''its hurting me'' but Arjun in frustration walked out of the room.. its a little unrealistic to imagine that Maya has posed herself as an abused wife so that Arjun doesn't walk out of the marriage fearing of his reputation...coz Arjun seems to have reached a point, where he doesn't care about his reputation anymore..he just wants to break free..

Well time will tell exactly what happened. Manhandling and physically abusing her, damaging her face is something I can't think of arjun doing it. Yes he manhandled her yesterday which many ArYa fans found hot. So obviously there is difference between both.

What happened today is something arjun can never do. If he does this then there was no need to hit himself yesterday.
