Now that there is no dusky, no vandana in arjun s life but still why aren't they happy? Maya s relationship with jhanvi was some what same.Jhanvi was getting suffocated. Now it's looks like arjun is getting suffocated. Maya may be happy but other person is never happy. Maya s emotions aren't wrong but her actions are. Secondly the situation isnt that bad and when hubby is flirty and has friends with whom he does masti is wrong. But the main priority of life shouldn't be neglected.

@Doreman: Jhanvi, though she is Maya's mom, she behaves like her daughter. Jhanvi knows that very well that Ashwin is not a good person. He has only married her for money and has been torturing her and Maya, yet she meets him. She has told decently to Jhanvi not to meet Ashwin but did she listen? Let's assume for a moment that Jhanvi is a normal mother who has given lots of love to her. Maya is normal & has a boyfriend. He is not a good person but Maya loves him blindly which Jhanvi could see & does not like him. What would Jhanvi do at that time when Maya does not listen to her?

@bold: That is an example which I am giving to support my statement. If you call it as caging then even Vandana is doing the same thing to Arjun. Maya told Jhanvi not to go to Ashwin is because he has not fulfilled the duties of a husband or a father and he has been torturing both of them. Vandana was against Arya marriage because of her superstitious belief's, to begin with, followed by believing the tormentors like Ashwin. If Vandana's intentions are right even Maya's intentions are also right towards Jhanvi regarding Ashwin.

Arjun's actions cannot be justified for meeting Saanjh secretly to have a drink with her & get intimate with her. Suman had warned Saanjh not to be the third wheel between Arjun & Maya. They are married couples. But Saanjh went & applied color on Arjun before he could have his moments with Maya. Saanjh is a third person. Maya told arjun decently after his bachelor's party not to drink to which he agreed. Drinking is bad for health & she said it for his well being. Arjun has crossed his limits so he has to pay for it. He has to work hard to get Maya's trust back.

As for the divorce, do you think it is easy to get in India? It will take long to get the divorce & it is a last resort in India, First, a wife will try to bring her husband to track. If it does not happen she will focus on her house & family which includes children. If that does not work, then divorce is the step.
