Do the CVs know what they are doing?
I think not but I truly hope they do.

Upto the 89th episode, that is the ArYa wedding, the show was incredible. A sorted out plotline, (mostly) amazing characters and wonderful execution of the scenes made the show watch-worthy and it was all tied together by a remarkable script.

However, after said episode, everything has gone downhill. Rash ideas were thrown together and there was a visible change in the plot week after week.
The Maya we were made to sympathise with may be a murderer, the Arjun who never really had a personality may not even retain the decency of a character, Saanjh who was initially clingy - turned sensible - may be supporting drunk Arjun in stupid decisions. Maya may be pregnant. Not to forget the constant Vandana-Maya drama. Arjun leaves the Sharma house. Jhanvi may be in a coma. Let's also recall that before the wedding, Maya may have been there at Arjun's bachelor's party as well. Ashwin's murder case which was stretched for an infinitely long time is no longer acknowledged as a coma-patient/wife is considered responsible for his murder after she confessed in letter Arjun tricked her into writing because he may be a cheap gold-digger.
There is a lot of things the makers imply may be true.
May - expressing possibility. The makers have left this at a point where they focus on the possibility of something, and abruptly either leave it hanging or close the matter in a very illogical manner. There is no certainty expressed anywhere at all. The CVs are either running around like headless chicken looking at TRPs to see what is appealing to the audience and have discarded ideas for several consecutive weeks or have a bigger, better, far-fetched plot in mind. [The second option currently seems unlikely to me, but one can hope.]

In the first place, I fail to understand how on earth Jhanvi was considered responsible for Ashwin's murder. Is a person's (Jhanvi) confession letter enough when a second person (Maya) is also confessing but all the evidence is against another person (Arjun) altogether? It is ridiculous that they just decided to take a confession letter into account and close the case.

Was Ashwin's death what lead to this chaotic, unorganised aspect of the show? Perhaps. I think after Ashwin's death the show could have gone two ways - either a really thrilling mystery with Ashwin's death as the main plot and everything else as sub-plots or just a what the hell is happening aspect. I think it's quite clear which way the show has gone so in this case, Ashwin's death did turn out to be the show's undoing.

Maya used to be the charm of the show. [To be noted: used - past tense] The post-wedding Maya is not appealing at all. She's either fulfilling housewife duties or convincing Vandana of her worth or faking a pregnancy. In the first place, Maya Mehrotra need not prove anything to anyone, so I believe introducing this new Maya Arjun Sharma was another aspect that added up to the ruination of the show as well as all the other uncountable idiosyncrasies happening in Beyhadh-town. I don't know if it's just me who notices this but Maya Arjun Sharma can't even carry herself, Maya Mehrotra knew how to walk, talk and exuded professionalism, power and elegance in its purest form - simplicity.

An undeniable fact: there were two captivating characters in the show who were truly intriguing and had the capacity to enrapture the audience - Maya and Ashwin. These two characters were extremely well executed by the actors and their screen-presence was, once upon a time, enough to rule a kingdom. They killed one character and I'm not even sure what they did to Maya, did they temporarily sweep her under the rug? Did they throw her out of the window? Nobody knows.

The show has been ruined, but I still believe the show isn't ruined beyond repair, it's not broken, just bent but the only thing that could save it is an amazing plotline that would tie all loose ends together at some point before it's too late.

[In this post I have expressed my personal views. Disagreeing is permitted - Bashing isn't.]

I agree, post wedding the show has lost its charm.
IMO post wedding this whole 180 degree turn of Maya was unrealistic and was not needed. Some of us think maya was pretending in that phase playing everyone to separate Arjun from his family and some of us think she genuinely changed and because of Vandana went back to the original mode. I see it as the writers failure if the audience are so divided. They are not able to tell their story convincingly. Makes me think they themselves are confused on what to show or how to show what they want to show.

Also I don't think they have thought through any other characters in this show other than Maya's. one thing we all wholeheartedly agree is that this is Maya's story regardless of whether we root for Maya or not. But the fact that the writers are messing up every other character to set the plot to justify Maya's actions makes me think they really have not spend anytime thinking about othe characters. They have only thought through Maya and others are just there to bring certain actions from Maya.

I wish the writers had a strong characterization of not just Maya but all characters and brought through growth in every important characters. Not too impressed with the show right now because there is no character in the show that you can really root for at this point. I wish the writers make up their mind on what they want to show rather than just going in circles and confuse the audience further.

As I've said further, I believe Maya Mehrotra had a powerful and elegant aura that stood out. The way she walked, her body language, in general, how she conducted herself was very minimalist and simple yet effective. I have noticed that post-wedding Maya's body language, speech, facial expressions as well as grooming have deteriorated quite a bit. This is just what I think, feel free to disagree.

I haven't seen the last two episodes but it sounds like it's getting worse. A change in character, if brought about out of nowhere should at least be justified, but Beyhadh fails to do that at the moment.

Out of all the changes in character, I am most disappointed by the change Maya underwent. I'm not too sure whether Maya's sudden niceness was genuine, it was certainly part of her plan, but I believe she began with true intentions and she tried until a certain period of time, however, later she just used the impression she created to her advantage.

Throughout phase 1 of the show Maya's character was the one that was brought out, who she is and what lead her to be the person she was. The makers completely depended upon this one character, and although I love Jennifer, I'm not too sure for how long she can save the show.

The writers failed in developing the other characters, mainly the other two leads, they still have time, but judging by the way it is currently going, I don't think things will be clear anytime soon.

I truly hope the makers have something in mind and aren't just going with the flow, because if that's the case, it's not going too well.

All that I can say is the CV's are confusing the viewers into believing who is Ashwin's murderer. There are 3 suspects namely, Arjun, Maya, & Jhanvi. Here Maya is classified into 2 by the members here.
Maya Mehrotra & Maya Arjun Sharma. Both are the same persons. So for me, it is one & only Maya. The person is more important than the name.

If Maya, arjun, or Jhanvi turn out as killers, it makes the show predictable. So the 4th person could be anybody.
