She overreacts a lot, and she is very regressive when it comes to her obsessions with what Pandit's say. How she has behaved towards Maya and treated her is appalling. Maya has done nothing to deserve this treatment from her. (As far as she knows, Maya is rich and successful and her childhood was marred by abuse. Beyond that what else does she know about her to behave this way?) Maya's biggest failure is that she is NOT Saanjh. That is not something she can ever change! When we hold something they cannot change against someone that means we have no intention of giving up our bias.

She has always behaved as if Maya is a problem and Maya has noticed her behavior and treatment of her. Even if Maya had NO psychological issues, what girl wants to be treated this way by their guy's Mother, just coz HE didn't choose the girl she wanted but chose her instead? I have nothing against the actress playing Vandana, but sometimes I feel her reactions are so OTT. Her scared and horrified expression is almost comical. Like she saw a ghost or a demon or something? She is going to be a terrible MIL, I can see it coming! I used to feel bad for Vandana, coz I believed she genuinely loved Arjun and he misunderstood her. But now she is on my last nerve with her judgemental and insensitive behavior.
