I kinda agree with your post. This show is all about maya's "bey-hadh" (without any limits) antics (not love). She will show 'beyhadh' in everything.Till now story goes in smooth way as it was briefed in very 1st promo- "naam, shourahat aur daulat- bahut jald"

- "hamari shadi kab hogi?- bahut jald"

This part is yet to seen.

- "hamari married life kaisi hogi?- bahut bahut mushkil" and then maya burnt the priest alive!

There was also a promo where cvs showed difference between saanjh and maya's love for arjun. Saanjh- a quite lover whereas maya- mad lover. So, this show is also about how 2 shades of love conflict with other- abd tge battle who outsmarts the other!

And as 2nd promo says- saanjh about to wish arjun 1st but then maya reached there and wished him. Signifies that saanjh and arjun will always be friends and this will evoke maya to show her "beyhadh" madness towards arjun.

OR

May be arjun is deceiving maya and may eventually end up marrying saanjh (my view). From here, we'll see actual maya, who once said "mujhe galti manzoor hai pr bemaani nahi". She will then show him that "maya e aag hai jiski koi hadh nahi hai [she is a fire without any limits]

It's totally my POV. I'm neither towards saanjh totally nor towards ArYa. I'm just a public audience who is getting intrigued in this daily and as audience I'm expecting 2nd option as that will make things more spicy in my opinion. Anyone can freely debate with me but fighting is not my cup of tea!

Interesting. 2nd one is theeki mirchi. But then that'll make it too typical and because it is indian tv, there are chances ki they'll go the ekta kapoor way.
My ideal one is where Maya and Arjun are at loggerheads. And mindgames ho ekdum dark and racy. Where Maya always outsmarts Arjun and drives him insane and he fights for his sanity. Saanjh might be murdered beech mein.
Ever since I watched Sherlock s4, I want Eurus-Sherlock ka mindgame ratrace thing as the climax. Too.much to ask i know.
But yeah- prefering anything thrilling and edge of the seat.
Btw even I hate fighting. Debating is cool. But one cool thing about IF is that fight bhi ho toh physical injuries nahi hoga. :P

Actually when I read your comment , another thing cane to my mind.
How does this look-
Beyhadh and 3 Idoits.
Now not the storyline but just the characters-
Maya is Rancho. And baaki dono are Farhan and Raju. Both are imp for the show. Yet Rancho is the key. Similarly in Beyhadh.
Just a thought. ;)

I agree with all that you have had to say. Maya swings between being an antagonist and protagonist but however wrong or right she may be, she remains the crux of the show. But the best part of your post would have to be the one in bold that cracked me up. 🤣

Disclaimer dena banta hai. Specially in this forum. ;)
Glad you liked the post. I always read your posts even when i was asilent reader. Love your analysis. ;)

What you said is exactly my feelings. Without Maya Beyhadh is nothing. Even the promos clearly showed that the story is going to be centered around Maya and Maya only. And I don't care if they go Kaabil, Drishyam or Gupt way until they keep Maya's character strong and worth watching.
But I'm also sad they are killing off Ashwin. Come on he's such a good villain. I love his character(like you said not the child abuser part but the rest of it is actually really good.)
And the both actors are doing such a fabulous job portraying their respective roles.
