@the unique..look at the show...it's all about Maya only...saanjh is a chapter and a character whom Maya should trespass to reach arjun bas...I never felt saanjh as the lead ...to be open saanjh is just any other ordinary character and no one will invest on her...for me this show is about mayas behadh Ness.

From the very beginning I didn't read between the character and thier lines...I took them just the way they are shown.no assumptions or no sign reading...I always felt this show is about mayas grey side..which means good +bad, positive+negative...

My post above was just pointing out to be patient, wait and watch and do not expect maya to be a positive character because she was never promoted as a positive character in the first place. If people wanted to watch a different character like maya and at the same time expect her to be someone redeemable, then what is different about the character? Isn't it what we see in every other show? That every wrong action is justifiable, has some meaning to it. Even then, Maya's justification is her mental condition. Shes not normal like u and me. Her way of thinking is different, her definitions of right and wrong are different. That makes it justifiable from Maya's perspective, not from the sufferer's perspective.

I don't really care about opinions of ppl who assume things but since this is a public forum some things have to be said I felt.

Nobody wants Maya to be a prim and propah milky white positive character lol. (Maya wasn't promoted as a negative character either like some fans are screaming from the rooftops)But what we want is for Maya's beyhadhness to be backed with proper explanations. Her responses to stimuli are contorted. Her actions don't make sense. And she's not portrayed to be a smartass villain. She's shown as a scheming vamp steamrolling on an innocent like Saanjh. So how can her smarts be admired? You definitely do not watch this show for Maya, so why do you care what people think about her character? You'd watch the show as long as Saanjh makes sense to you. Saanjh is someone that's EASY to write. The real test for a writer is to pen someone that's as complex as Maya and yet to make the viewers sympathize with her actions even if they don't agree with what she does. Are the viewers able to do so without inventing their own reasons to fill in the gaping gaps left to make sense of the narrative? Why do you think many viewers bash Saanjh irrationally? They want to keep their own personal narrative of Maya being a tormented soul and the only way they can do so is to bash the one person that can see through the facade constructed by Maya.

You're not the only one that's defended Saanjh. I've done that as well and have particularly voiced my views against the forum's attitude towards Saanjh. I am not asking you to prove anything to me but at least don't try to justify Maya's characterization as though it's a landmark in writing.

^ okay, if u have ur own reasons to not like how Maya's character is written then its totally fine with me. I will keep my opinion, u keep urs. I'm not going to defend Maya's character because i don't really identify with her or connect to her. But u cannot accuse me of not caring about Maya's character because Saanjh's character is in positive light. I'm seeing the show as a whole too. And I see no wrong with her character being negative, nope not because it makes Saanjh appear good(it doesnt, Saanjh has way too many flaws) but because that's what how it was supposed to be in the first place. And the story, right now has just begun. And there are many more layers to Maya's character which are yet to be revealed. And i think blaming the PH or the makers too soon just coz of one iv by the male lead is a little not done when a major chunk of the story is yet to unfold. Just stating my opinion, u r free to share urs.

Hi, I'm extremely sorry as I will not be joining this movement with all of you due to the simple reason that I share different views and I haven't used my Twitter in a couple of years now. I'd just like to leave the plotline upto the writers and brace myself for the Beyhadh future, come what may.

I wish you all the best for this movement and I hope you achieve your goal. I also hope the difference in my opinion will not affect the companionship I have encountered from my fellow forum members, please don't hate me 😭

I understand your pov dear.
But me and other few members here have connected to maya in deep level. We are moved by her traumatic childhood and so we want to see her happy and in peace. We like her being grey but if she becomes full dark thn it will be difficult for us to connect wth her. How will we watch the show then? We are watching show for maya journey and if she becomes evil thn it sends message that a childhood traumatic person can never cure themselves.

Anyways, you are supporting show beyhadh that is enough dear.. Afterall we are united here by beyhadh.

Thanks for understanding Sona. I too, relate to Maya, but on a very different level than many of you do, I completely understand your point and why you would not want Maya to turn into a dark character. I agree with you, it will send out the wrong message, I don't think that would affect the audience well either. How is the movement going so far?

Indian TV is probably is the only place where viewers start dictating the story. Then we sit and complain about the low quality of Indian TV shows. I hope the audience stay out of the creativity path let the creatives do their job. Never did I see them promote this as a love story with happy ending. There are lots of people watching this show for a good story just like how the promo's promised. From the promo's it was clear Maya had negative shades and mental issues. If people didn't want to see and accept those shades in maya, wonder why they chose to watch the shoe and then trying to ask creatives to change story and characters this way or that way. I wish the makers stay true to their tag line and the concept. I wish more and more finite story Induan shows come out and I hope the creatives don't get swayed by people watching to see some senseless lovey dovey scenes without a strong script. Or else Induan TV is doomed with eye locks, trip catch and fall and such lovey dovey couples. For once let them tell their story, give them feedback by all means but asking the story to go this way or that way or asking them to change characters, I don't think audience should have that liberty.

Did any of you see the haldi teaser that's out! It's too f**king HOT!!! 😆Looks like CVS want to keep the viewers hooked showing these stuff.. cuz they have a pathetic tale !

If Jennifer wouldn't have been Maya... I don't think this character would have got so much accolades & nobody would be bothered ki Maya jiye ya marey ! That person would have been a regular vamp using her dirty tricks to separate the bff !
