I didn't expect Arjun to pay too much attention to that; he doesn't come across as an observant person.

Plus, the situation isn't a normal one. People tend to react in all sorts of ways in these kinds of circumstances. So, one such small reaction isn't really enough to doubt anything.

We all know how maya is so we got scary but Arjun can't react unless he face anything from maya directly

Actually we know she is different and have psychological problem but arjun don't know and Maya was very stressed regarding her mothers health normal people too behave crazily when someone close to them is having life and death situation so it was not noticable enough to figure out that maya is different
