If it's about me then I won't go for such a person.Even if that person is the hottest and richest guy on the planet.Obsessive love looks good only in books and TV.And I just wanna know something. Why is obsessive love so attractive?? It chains you physically, mentally and emotionally. And over possesiveness ruins a relationship.Be it an over possesive man or woman.
I am a girl and I will stay miles away from such a guy.Obsession soon leads to discord and violence. Then no one is happy.Girls tend to be attracted to guys who have a dangerous side. But trust me it's not that great in real life.

And tell me one thing, will you be able to live with someone who dominates you at every step?? The good guys may look boring onscreen. But at the end of the day it's the good guys who can give you peace and security.Obsession and possesiveness turns a relationship toxic.

Obsessive love has been romanticised in books and movies. And it looks beautiful in books and movies. In real life, things can take an ugly turn.

Now I wish to ask a question. The reason for people to get attracted to such individuals onscreen in their good looks. What if they are not good looking?? Will you glance twice at them??

And one more thing.I am not criticizing Maya or praising Saanjh.Infact Maya is my favourite character. There are many traits in her which I admire.Like her confidence, her attitude, her style, etc.
But this poll was about my choice in real life and not a choice between Maya and Saanjh.

First of all...Hello to everyone...
Started watching this show just recently. Haven't watched much of Indian TV before, never had a great opinion and never liked those family oriented, sobbing, plotting saas-bahu dramas. Recently joined the TV bandwagon with a friend's recommendation of another show and got glued to the small screen. Catching up on all the beautiful stuff I missed all these years. I created an account just to answer this question.

I know I am feeble minority saying this, but Yes, I'd marry someone like Maya. I for one, love extremes in people. And I love pain and baggage. I love drama. I love highly emotional people. I always have. And I don't mean just characters in novels, TV, or movies. I mean in real life. I do not like the normal, average people, they do not excite me sorry.

In my opinion, we are all normal, average, acceptable to everyone around us, throughout the day, everyday. If there is one person, who we can share our innermost self, pain, grief, baggage, unconditional love, passion, pagalpan, it should be our spouse. Mediocrity and balance is for the society. With our wife/husband, pagalpan, junoon honi chahiye. So if someone would love me so much that nothing else mattered to them, if someone would love me to death, I would do the 'till death do us part' with him/her. I would love to be the only one in the world for them, only one they'd share their pain, their pure raw emotions, their past, their dreams, their fears, their passion and their love. I'd love to be that 'only one' for them, forever. Quoting ADHM, 'Pyaar Junoon hai, Dosti Sukoon hai'.

Well, that is me. I have seen many good couples guys, trust me after a little time, there is just aadat, society, dependency, families, home loans, and most importantly kids that are keeping them together. They are just used to things being where they are and they feel asphyxiation, but it is too much turbulence to change anything, so they fight, vent out, patch up and move on. IMO, people should do that with their extended families, their kids, society, office, workplace and that's it. Not with your life partner, your passion(music, dance, gaming, any passion) and your dreams. 'These are the three things which are only mine, completely 100% only mine. You shouldn't mask or shy away from yourself or hold yourself up in these areas of your life. So I don't think maya is wrong at all and I would happily marry a person like maya and do the 'Give everything you have and take everything they offer' with him/her.

Thanks for taking time to read my thoughts. Woah! that was long! Sorry guys...

hi my answer is yes/no

no- i cannot live with a woman who is this possessive toward who i can chat or hangout with. i cannot stand too much possessiveness but little is good but maya is extreme she might become even more darker later on. i want to meet my family, spend time with them, want her to spend time with them to along with my friends.i need little space to and she needs to trust me with her heart to.

yes- oh yes i would love to marry a girl like maya who loves from the bottom of her heart. she will always be royal no matter what. she does not play with love she will love me completely. minus her over obsession she is the girl every guy would want! business woman, very mature, educated, no nonsense type yes i would want to marry her.

Will you be ready to cut all ties with your best friend or all other people whom your spouse dislike or is insecure of?

Or imagine it like you are a girl & a guy who is beyhad hot, rich etc etc (male version of maya) falls in love with you & threatens you with a balloon proposal😛 Would you be ready to be with him FOR life??

Vote and express your views in comment. Esp those who root for Arjun Maya. Imagining yourself in Arjun's place how do you see it?

Yes I would marry Maya.
As having a good beautiful crazy lady is better than having no lady 😆😃
I know shel be extra extra possessive about me but thats fine because she cares.
Also I believe I can handle her the best as im more crazier thn her 😆 jk
