You missed the whole point of my post. I am talking about Arjun's perspective here, and why he should not be called 'dumb' for not understanding that it's not his talent and charm that is getting him all these opportunities. Low EQ - yes, but definitely very realistic portrayal. I never said Maya is not unethical - she is. Who on earth asks their employee to drink alcohol as a punishment and which employer penalizes their employee by locking them up in the washroom? Arjun believes that Maya is core hard worker who is OTT obsessed with efficiency and creativity ONLY. She has always been thankless verbally and rude to Arjun (until the last 2-3 episodes). So there is no way Arjun could guess that Maya has other motive behind her actions. So nope, I am not joking at all. I already said that Maya is talking about the ad campaign after that precap about junoon and pyar philosophy was aired. Again because I know people could talk like that when they are talking about something they are passionate about in the creative industry. It's easier for us to know that Maya loves him because it's a show about Maya's obsessive love. We are shown everything about Maya from what she does at work, alone and at home. Arjun isn't shown all of this. It will be plain dumb to think Arjun knows as much as we do. 😆 I change my stance here, it is not about low EQ at all, it is just human and you guys are failing to see matters from solely Arjun's POV.

So many posts have been made in the forum as to how the hell Arjun calls Maya his boss by her name and sits in her chair and basically treats her as if she's his chuddy buddy , giving her muft ke advice and criticism all the time, calling her names carelessly, drawing pictures of her, wasting office hours in various stupid antics and yet he's so much of a moron that he doesn't even ask himself why the hell Maya doesn't put him in his place in an instant, or simply kick him out, like she would've done with any body else in his place 😲 🥱. You know why ?? Because Arjun is all about "me, mine and myself. " 😆

About high pay and opportunity, a lot of bosses do that for talented people. The soft corner is explained by Arjun in his own words - his 'charm' and talent 😆

No they don't. Never ever any boss would give such unthinkable opportunities and pay package to an utter novice , a pretty attitude-y one at that , with out that guy proving his own talent and loyality for a long time and even then they'd have to maintain a strict professional outlook and a certain work place decorum. 😆 This is real life dude , think practically and realistically. 😃

If Maya is giving him professional favours just because she hopes for some emotional, intimate favours in return then you know what? Any employee could actually sue her, because it is highly unethical.

Umm... last I checked it;s her company and she can do whatever the eff she wants to do regarding any employee and any post and any job , no body had any right whatsoever to, let alone judge , even question her on it. Plus . why the hell do you think that Maya is doing in expectation of some thing in return ?? 😆 I mean what gave you that idea ?? Maya is giving Arjun all kinds of perks and opportunities and what not because she likes him , she's falling for him , as simple as that , and any guy with an ounce of brain would've done the math by now and reached the obvious conclusion by now. Wo baat alag hai ki Arjun has an "high and mighty" syndrome. But I suspect his overconfident dud attitude and bravado intrigues Maya. 😉

So obviously the employees to know that Arjun is talented and he deserves the opportunity Maya is giving him. Please don't call giving work opportunity a sign of love - that is dumb.

You need to descend from your high moral ground and practice realistic thinking , or else you'll completely miss the picture. 😆 😉

P.S- Arjun deserves none of what he's getting from Maya, his utterly shocked and disbelieving reactionevery time Maya gives him some thing or does some thing nice for him are proof of that.But Maya likes him and will continue to blatantly give/do things for him and she's completelyentitled to do so.

It's just that at this point Arjun's blindness to facts staring at him , or should I say facts sitting at his nose , are getting too hilarious and stupid.

About your reply, at one point you are asking me to 'descend from my high moral ground' and at another place you are stating your opinion on how an employee should be (the very same way I stated how an employer should be).
About bosses giving their people perks - you simply said I am wrong without stating why. You didn't witness any such case in your life, I did - and such blatant refusal to believe on your behalf does not make me concede. About why I think Maya is wanting something in return - she wants Arjun to continue with that job no matter what. She is waiting for the right time to propose to him. In the coming episodes we will also see Maya hiring Saanjh just to keep an eye on them. This is just OTT obsessive behavior, not ideal love. About the posts on why Arjun calls Maya his boss - read my reply on that post, quite some people agreed with me.

The only point I agree with you is the last one, where you stated why Arjun isn't really deserving.

He even said 'kuch to gadbad hai' in the last episode - implying that he looks upon Maya's actions with suspicion, not a sign of love.

I repeat for the 2nd time, my response is in consideration of Arjun's POV.

PS. Asking anyone to lower their moral standing is not okay, especially when discussing something as unimportant as a TV show. Please maintain some degree of respect for people in discussion, especially because I am a stranger to you, not your friend. If you are again going to ask me to lower my moral standards just because our opinions don't match, let me know - I will withdraw from this discussion. Have a nice time.

Someone saw the new promo ? How come Maya and her mom shopping in the same shop where Saanjh and Arjun went ? I mean I thought Maya is richie rich and Arjun and Saanjh are middle class people ? Is Maya stalking Arjun ?

And I am not failing to see stuffs from Arjun's pov , it's his pov only that is very clear to me and I'm wrote about it in countless posts . Arjun does think everything should be served to him in a golden platter and everyone should probably treat him with special behavior because he is charming . ( I've seen guys like him in my real life too .😆) That is probably why when his super high expectations do not meet reality he leaves jobs and that is the reason he left so many jobs . I accept, I didn't write that I am keeping Arjun's POV in consideration in my first post of this discussion assuming you may want to introspect a little before thinking i am joking. I don't blame you here since I understand the internet is full of trolls and you might have thought I am one of them.

At one point you guys believe that Arjun is shocked when he recieves all these undeserving opportunities and raises(Macbeth wrote it, I assume you agree with her given you didn't post your disagreement there) and at the other hand you say that Arjun believes he is very deserving and should be served everything on a golden platter.
I cannot decide on what point are you disagreeing with me.

He is very verbal about his suspicious on Maya's actions (Arjun's last dialogue from the last aired episode)..so he is not an ignorant fool here, just that like any other normal human he is not considering it a sign of love.

I myself am earning a 6 digit salary despite having completed just the first year bachelor studies, some may call it undeserving but seriously - my employer doesn't love me. 🤣
