ANTARA - I cannot understand !

Is she on weeds?

I started watching this show since last ten days. And I also watched first 4-5 epis. Since I haven't seen all episodes, Antara's character is something I am unable to decipher.

I thought she knew about Diya-MJ affair but aaj pta chala she didn't know before, that's why when she came to know , she slapped diya.

Also she knows MJ doesn't love her. She told Diya that MJ doesn't love anyone, he is only in love with his name and sons.

So , isn't diya's supposed baby also MJ's ? Then why he doesn't love that baby?

Also Will Maya support diya or will go against her?

I don't understand Antara. She is a victim of domestic violence. Then why she supports MJ?

Antara is far from being a normal person. She's just happy and takes pride in being Mrs MJ Roy for namesake and the mother of his kids. She can go to any limit to please MJ even though he wont love her and rather at times threaten her. I doubt at times if she actually cares for Rudra or thats also just fake to please MJ. Antara is a spineless character.

And as for MJ he loves his kids but only legitimate ones as he values his fake image and reputation more than anything else.

Maya will take MJ's side to remove Diya from the house as Diya was MJ's strongest support system.

Every woman in this show from Antara to Maya take pride in having last name of Roys attached to their first name, It is a part of their identity. Sadly for Antara the only way to keep her identity and family with her is tolerating MJ's affairs. MJ's sons and his name are his two weaknesses, Antara uses these two against him nicely, she asked MJ to get rid of Manvi or she will take his sons away from him and he did it. CVs have failed in explaining how MJ who loves his kids so much did not feel anything for his and Maya's child, now his and Diya's child

Majority women in india are antara only

Husband will hit and abuse yet they keep quiet and stay with husband for economic safety and society fear

Husband is casanova yet they will tolerate

Very very few women will be brave to call spade a spade and leave husband and live independently

With a psycho like MJ you never know he may kill antara to save his name in world if she decides to leave him like he did to Maya
