Ep 26: Maine to pyaar kaha hi nahi Rudra, I just said 'Like'

So the tone has been set for an interesting week. 'Tis the week to tie all the loose ends. Maybe the Ankit incident could trigger the end of an already rocky MaHi relationship, maybe Rudra would finally embrace the fact that he feels more for Maya or maybe it will be his turn to pursue Maya because Rudra being Rudra will surely try to push her away. Let us see how this week unfolds. I am just looking forward to Maya vs Ankit, cause I want her to face him in Maya Mehrotra style - whoop him on his backside overcoming her panic seizure. And I am also looking forward to Rudra pursuing Maya and showing the intense, passionate and possessive lover side to her.

MaHi confrontation - So this tussle was much needed, to show where Rishi stands in this game. Maya, even though for her revenge, stuck to the right side. But, Rishi is still very close to his family, which is but natural. Even I would stick to my family considering that my perception of my family is very normal. It isn't as skewed as Rudra's because Rudra is aware of his family dynamics. And Rudra has the courage to still stand up to Mrityunjay because he has the fire that Mrityunjay has. But Rudra's fire is pure and raw and that destroys every negative force that comes his way. Rishi is still somewhere in the middle - because of his little knowledge. But will the Roy fire in him fizzle out when the truth of his family is exposed and he sticks to them or does it burn in full glory enough to stand by Maya and fight the battle she has initiated? I sometimes see RuAn in the MaHi equation. They are capable of being good friends than lovers. But let us see. I am just waiting for all the cards being laid out and to see Mrityunjay as the Mahishasur in full glory and Maya as the avatar of Kali she has embraced.

Mrityunjay's storm - The calm before the storm is what describes Mrityunjay today, and I have a feeling, it will all fall on Rishi - poor lad😭

MayRa conversation - This is one of the most decent conversations that Maya and Rudra have had in a while now. Maya appreciated Rudra's honesty and courage to go against his own and Rudra appreciates Maya's support and encouragement when his own turned against him when he needed them the most. Maya's attempt at flirting was rather ridiculous to me, because all I could do was roll my eyes thinking, "kitna natak karegi tu Maya?", but what I always appreciate the fact that CVs roll in a bit of real Maya in these conversations. When Rudra offers the last bite of the cake for good luck, Maya was touched by that gesture, because in Maya's words "Kabhi kisine mujhe kuch diya nahi, sirf liya hai". That is the only instance when she was just Maya. And the lights turn back on and she again resumes her act of warming up to Rudra, witnessing Ananya standing there. Even though this scene shows Maya trapping Rudra, there are some instances, where she actually just becomes Maya. So, Maya has marked Rudra as her knight and also showed it to Ananya quite clearly that Rudra is drawn to Maya.

Rishi pacifying Ananya - Rishi is a good guy, and I really want him not to turn negative and be the 2nd Rajiv to Maya. An easygoing camaraderie should be established in the future between Maya and Rishi, I would love to see that. Let us see if we get to see that. But in terms of love, Rishi is still very naive. Ananya understands love because she feels it for Rudra. So she is seeing the same happen to Rudra, but not for her. She is finding it painful that Rudra is falling for someone else, but what is hurting her is the constant denial Rudra is giving. But Rishi who knows he is dating Maya is continuously denying any intimacy between MayRa, with him almost revealing the same to Ananya. But then Maya intervenes.

Maya's home invitation - Maya wants to cement her game with Rishi and Rudra. With Rishi, I believe it will be to pull away from him and break up so that Rishi is pushed over the edge and Mrityunjay has no choice but to act - may be in an extreme manner. With Rudra, I believe it is to develop a business partnership into a romantic partnership that leads to her entering the Roy household as Mrs. Roy which was denied to her 10 years ago. Ananya is irked with Maya, not because she dislikes her, but because she dislikes Rudra's inclination to her, and so those 'chowkidar' words came out. I think once she accepts MayRa relation, she will stand for them as a good friend would. But Rishi rushes to Maya's aid telling Ananya that she considers us as friends, whereas Ananya rightly understood that Maya's 'Friend' is only Rudra here.

MaHi & RuAn conversation - Where Maya confronts Rishi on the trust issues she has on Rishi, Ananya confronts Rudra on having feelings for Maya. Rishi tries to assure Maya of his love and Rudra tries to assure Ananya of their friendship and continues denying "being in love" with Maya, which correctly Ananya rectifies that I spoke about 'like' and not 'love'. Ananya also does not like being compared to Maya. And that is quite right. It came off as "pyaar karna hai to karo, compare mat karo"😆

CCTV Ankit ki band bajne wali hai😡- Firstly he identified Maya and breached the little trust Maya had on Rishi, then dares to capture a picture of hers - do do dangers. Maya very aptly crushed Ankit's ego and Mrityunjay's gift under her stilletoes. But Ankit is far from giving up and sends Maya's picture to Mrityunjay. I am sure that Mrityunjay will not come to know so soon. The way she crushed Ankit's phone, maybe the file corrupts. But Ankit has a bad time coming his way because he dared interfere in the game between Maya and Mrityunjay.

Precap - So Maya sends her mom away to cement her game. In all probability, she will use Rishi to egg Rudra to confront his feelings. Probably the part in the precap when Rudra is at dis-ease with confronting his past demons, the kiss is followed by that and not vice-versa. But that is my thought. Let's see how it plays out. Because I want to know whether Rudra completely avoids Maya after the kiss the following day or accepts that he feels more for Maya. Another thought also says that Rudra will avoid Maya and rudely ask her to back off, and she may comply and that may irk Rudra because he is in love with her. Maya may interact more freely with others, especially Rishi and Rajiv. Rishi may be more eager to interact with Maya to get in her good books.

What an interesting episode to begin the new week. Who would have thought that the Maya who loves black and has chosen darkness will bring light & sweetness (love) into someone elses life- symbolically and literally? I love it when the cvs get the symbolic aspects right.

It was equally nice to see Rudra willing to light Mayas life and share the sweetness back with her. Rudra is going to be so passionate in his love and pursuit for Maya. Will be interesting to see her head and heart in turmoil over it.

The MayRi conversation clearly hints that Rishi will do absolutely nothing like today to ever help or protect Maya. Standing quietly as ur jerk friend makes ur gf uncomfortable was ridiculous to watch. Similarly him firmly showing faith in MJ against Mayas words show in case of MJ-Maya also he will side with MJ only.

I feel bad for people like Ananya who choose to suffer instead of trying to move on and find the love she deserves. I love her character and hope she becomes an ally for MayRa against MJ.

First of all I feel a tad bit emotional these days😭.I have no idea why.. and the show just makes me more emotional.. need to do a hormone check I guess 🤔

For me Rishi and Maya never had any relationship. For rishi it was attraction at first sight and then it was a game of ego.. mayas game with rishi was going smooth until he found out that she works with Rudra.. now Rishi can turn potential threat for Maya if she doesnt get rid of him soon.. and ankit already has seeded that today.. Rishi not only let his friend talk rubbish about her but also take pics.. he stood there like a statue.. bharosa se hi pyar hota hai.. she said that in front of all.. other day she asked Rudra for bharosa too and he fought the world for it.. and today Rishi let go of it in no time.. for me Rishi is the karn..who wanted to marry draupadi too but he couldn't lift the bow of Shiva for her.. here Mayas fight is that bow and hitting the eye of the moving fish will need lot of commitment which only Rudra can give.. honestly I will be happy with Maya Rishi ending..

MJ is a storm.. the fire that he was on he rather cooked over it.. but the cooking is to think what to do next.. with both his sons.. from one angle the war with Rudra has started and once Rudra falls for Maya, it might just be Ananya who might spill the beans to MJ that he is in love.. MJ will pull up again for Rudra.. Rishi on the other hand will face brunt of the whole loss IMO.. MJ can ask him to leave Ruan and continue his studies or work with him.. his earlier plan of keeping rishi with Ruan was only in the hope of getting closer to Rudra.

Maya celebrating their win with her standard cake.. they both brought the ray of light in each others lives.. Maya was flirting and it was hilarious for me esp the attractive thing.. Rudra was actually affected because of this flirting.. he actually saw a diff side of her.. but amidst the pretence was the moment of truth.. the last bite of good luck.. just like the printer fall scene.. Maya was flirting with Rudra but his small moment of care carried her away more than Rudra.. she fell harder in that small moment than he within the whole of her pretence.. the kiss is again I feel is an unplanned moment.. kiss also represents sealing two fates or lives.. Maya is clear that she only needs Rudra now.. so she is going to cut away Ananya and Rishi next from him.. That already started with hurting Ananya.. but I have Hopes that Ananya will become MayRa strength once Rudra confesses her love for Maya.. Her character is well written that way.. she might also be someone who might find Mayas hidden skeletons considering she is a key link between Mj and Rudra..

I actually empathise with Ananya.. she is not clingy or annoying a character actually.. and I personally went through what she feels and can relate.. I felt bad for her tears but letting go of her love and keeping friendship is the best thing she can do.. I feel she is also having her own doubts on Maya.. anyways in the very first epi Rudra had announced that Maya is there between them..

I feel Maya is trying make Rishi uncomfortable so that she can break his heart and Rudra uncomfortable so that he can confess his feelings.. Rudra wont hide himself once this kiss happens.. he will let go off his inhibitions and love whole heartedly. But again giving Maya her say.. he wont probably confess so soon but he will make her feel special I feel which will put her over her emotions.. love and affection goes a long way esp because Rudra hits the chords right with her..

I love the fact that whenever MayRa talk to wach other, the real Maya comes out, at least peeking from her darkness. No one else has the ability to bring out the real Maya, that makes Rudra kaabil. Also she celebrated his victory over hindrances by MJ, her knight/warrior is ready. I think one of the most beautiful moment of the episode was where Rudra stops her from leaving in the dark to give her his good luck. She is truly overwhelmed. Then Ananya switches on the light, and he stops what he was doing, and she takes the charge and gives the good luck back to him. In a way, it is their good luck bite, because they are together.

Apart from MayRa, I felt the Rishi-Ananya scene was also heartrending. Let's leave aside the fact that Rishi wants to possess Maya, in his love, because first, he is immature, second, he has seen only that in his family that love means possessing. Rishi is otherwise pretty innocent and genuine in his feelings for Maya, at least right now. The way he was assuring Ananya, comforting her, he showed he isn't only MJ's son, he is Antara's son as well. He is blinded by his love, so he fails to catch the red signals. I felt bad for Ananya too, but when the love is unrequited, it's not fair for yourself to keep any hopes or expectations.

The episode was all about sahi waqt. To strike the iron when it is hot. Maya celebrated Rudra's win and got his trust at the right moment, Rudra, by offering his good luck to her, showed his genuine side at the right moment in the dark, i.e. before light comes and he is stopped. Rishi failed to grasp the truth in sahi waqt and see through what Maya was doing. Ananya failed to grasp her feelings in the right moment, losing Rudra's dependency on her, it shifted to Maya because she couldn't support him during his crisis. MJ's might get hold of Maya's identity in sahi waqt, before her intentions materialize.

Maya is sending away her Maa, her weakness with Rajeev. I don't think it's a good move after how MJ took away her shares by torturing Rajeev.
