That makes perfect sense. But that whole “you’re water and I more often, than not, don’t need you” was humiliating and I had this urge to smack that jug on his head.

His obsession to keep a track on everything shows his god complex and I was totally okay with it, but that utter disregard towards his wife, made him unappealing to me.

I watched Beyhadh 1.0 but not as intensely as I am watching BeyHadh 2.0, coz B1 was too scarring for me to watch it everyday and not feel the chills. I felt the same about Saubhagyavati Bhava (No comparison between the shows, just MY perception), I think coz Maya's character was the only one given that kind of impetus. And somewhere, I sort of stopped watching, then re-watched towards the end. I followed it regularly though. I felt it was too dark, in comparison B2 is dark, but it is more of a thriller with a motive, and less of a sociopathic take.

A character cannot be outright black without becoming a villain. Beyhadh 1 Maya was not an anti-hero or "grey" she was a sociopath, plain sadistic. For me, a protagonist has to have some light within, so I can root for her. Season 1 CV's took the term "beyhadh" too literally without a balance, those characters are not fun to watch. I stopped watching when I realized maya is just being a cruel without any convictions. only a mental institution could help her.

This is going to sound shallow but I had looked at Shivin and thought “chalo he's good looking” as I hadn’t watched anything of his earlier. So he was a definite revelation!! ☺️

I hadn’t caught up with QH after Karan quit, but I can vaguely recall her and I have to say, she’s doing a fab job. Yesterday, her helplessness and addiction was portrayed beautifully! 👏

I feel like Maya-Rudra have a past connection. There has to be a reason why she doesn't wanna kill him or defeat him. Why his touch is already ok.

Even I sense the same ..There is some sort of connection between these two.. Rudra said it in their first confrontation itself.."Do we have any old connection which I couldn't remember?"

Memory loss only one thing to connect all dots now but he remembers his love life he had flashbacks right

Now I know where I saw you. QH. 😆 I go back to the Forum and read the Archived threads. Yeah she looked funny in it. 😆 But I loved her portrayal yesterday. When MJ came to her, she looked like a parched woman desperate for her man's touch, but who'd resigned herself to rejection.

Now new character will create more mess with mj did any one saw the segment .. In that they said that they going to divide the properties, and had office problem to due to him . mj hates that person rishi going to turn against brother for first time
