Maya Drabble- Flinch

Rishi's skin touched mine, throwing me down the dark aisle of feeling his touch against my own, his lips on mine, his hand caressing mine.

I felt tainted, and the impulsive part in my washed it with the coffee.

I just wish, I could pour something to wash away my memories as well. His lies, his promises, his proposal.

But those who don't get their wishes fulfilled, let those wishes burn them, just like my hand.

My first story through a character's (specifically Maya's POV) I know she is just more than what I have written, but hope it's worth a read😊
