One thing I have to say, there are good looking guys in this serial. Veer is Rahul from Jabb Love Hua.
The serial starts with Veer coming into the house. Veera and Krishna are shocked and look at Parth. They show Veer and he tells Neelkanth, that I will marry Krishna. I have always liked her, figured, I would tell you at the right time. Now look how the right time has come.
Parth walks upto his father and says, Papa, I want to say something. Krishna and I ek dusre se.... His father interrupts and says, bachpan se jaante ho. Aur tum yahi kehna chahte ho, ki there cannot be another girl for your brother, better than krishna, right.
Veeraj tells Neelkanth, that he has always wanted Krishna and Veer's marriage. Krishna will come to my house as Veer's wife. Looks like God fulfilled my wish, now, I will complete the ritual. Parth walks away sad, and the background music (Yeh pyaar mein kyun hota hai, kyun kissi ko, waffa ke badle waffa nahin milthi).
Krishna and Parth look at each other. Then Krishna sees the fathers hug. Krishna says, Bapuji, mein wo..... Neelkanth comes and takes Krishna to the side and says, that if today, Veeraj and Veer were not there, I would not be able to raise my eyes, in front of anyone. Veer saved me from shame. Otherwise, you had already made my pagdi fall. If your engagement happens, then it will be with Veer. You are lucky that you have received a husband like Veer.
Veeray interrupts and asks what are you talking to your daughter. Shall we start the engagement proceedings. Veeray says that my son is getting married to your daughter, there should be music and dance and festivities. Sanwri, says, don't worry uncle we are there for that.
Krishna and Parth look at each other sadly. Parth has tears in his eyes. Nutan (the mother) looks at both of them and feels as if something is amiss. Nutan asks Krishna, you like Veer don't you, tell me. Krishna looks down for a minute and then looks up. Parth has left by now.
Jati bua (the evil one) calls Nutan over and says that Veer wants to make friends with her. She says, nowadays, relationships start with friendship, kyun Krishna. Krishna then see Parth going upstairs towards the terrace.
She follows him. He sees her and asks what are you doing here, that too at this time. What need was there? Krishna says, are you saying this Parth. Parth looks down, and Krishna says, Jo log nazron mein thi, aaj wohi log nazrein chura rahe hain. Dil ki dhadkanein sunane wale thumhe itni bhi himmat nahin thi ki sabke samne kissi apne ka haat thaam le. The person who used to make me complete, that person, has left me incomplete. Ek dusre ke liy banne log, aaj ek dusre ko hi mita rahein hain. Kya issi ko pyaar kahthe hain Parth. Father had stopped me, I could not say anything in front of him, but you could have said something. Even then you kept quiet.
Parth says, mere chupi ke peeche, papa ka ehsaan chippi hai. Kabhi kabhi, pyaar se badi parvarish ho jaati hai. Mein unka beta nahin huun. Mein anaath huun. When I was small, Papa had adopted me, gave me the same love and rights as his own son, Veer. If Papa had not done all this for me, I would not be standing in front of you right now. If Papa had not asked your hand for Veer, then in front of everyone, I would have asked for your hand. But what Papa has done for me, has tied my hands. Meri parvarish, mere pyaar ke aage aa gayein. Krishna asks him, that means, tumne apni parvarish ki keemat meri pyaar se chukayi hain. Meine tho suna tha ki, pyaar se badkar koi thaakath nahin hothi. Parth says, aur ehsano se badi koi kamzori nahin hothi. How can I break the dreams of the person, who gave me the right and capability to dream. Pyaar insaan ko banatha hai, aur ehsaan unhe mitatha hai. Aaj mein mit gaya, Krishna.
Krishna says, keh rehe the ki sab kuch badal doonga, badal diya sab kuch. Parth, can you see me getting married to some one else. Parth says, shayad haan. Krishna says, tumhari haan mein bhi, meine naa sun lee Parth. Parth just looks at her sadly, and dejected.
Nutan calls for Krishna, and sees both of them together. She says come with me, and drags Krishna to a room. Nutan closes the door, and Krishna asks what happened. Nutan, says that is what she wants to ask her. Krishna says that she will explain. Nutan says that she understood everything already. But you need to understand something, Krishna. When I was growing up, my parents stopped my studies for my brother, that was my first sacrifice as a sister. Then I was forced to marry when I was young, that was my second sacrifice as a daughter. Then when I got married, I listened to everythin your father said, that was my third sacrifice, as a wife. When you girls were born, I had decided that I would not let the same happen to my daughters, but I had forgotten that girls are born to sacrifice. However I tried to stay within my maryada and helped you girls. But Krishna mein apni maryada nahin laang sakthi. Krishna : Lekin maa. Mother tells her to forget everything. Your father's sisters hurt him, and I do not want my daughters to give him the same pain. Your father's reputation is in your hands. Marriage depends on destiny. Your destiny is probably Veer. You should forget Parth.
They are about to go downstairs when they see Veera. Nutan asks Veera to bring Krishna down. They look at each other sadly, and Veera brings her downstairs.
Festivities are going on. Music being played, is Doli sajake rakhna, chehra chupake rakhna, from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Veer dances with Krishna, while she is just standing. Parth is clapping his hands forcefully.
Then they show the Trustee-Aatish Mehta, drunk and happy about all that he did. That he shamed Krishna and her father. Then Pawan Sharma (the mystery man) shows up. He says that you failed. One guy went and another came. Aatish is like he will not leave Krishna. Pawan says, that to destroy Krishna, you need to attack her weakness and not her strength. Don't hurt the tree, but the roots.
Then they show the celebrations. Veeraj says, the rituals for happiness is done, shall we complete the rituals for the engagement. However, the ring...... Parth then takes out the ring he had brought for Krishna, and says, Papa, I have the engagement ring. Father is very proud and praises Parth and says that Parth loves Veer a lot. And that he will do anything for Veer. Veeraj says that this is how a son should be. I am very proud of my son. They show Nirvaan making expressions, thinking yeah whatever. And Jati bua and her son are happy that Parth and Krishna are separated.
Parth is about to give the ring, when Jati bua says, that some relationships are made on earth and some are made in heaven. Parth, give your relationship to Veer. I mean, give your ring to Veer. Sati bua says, how come, why should Parth give his ring to Veer. What is this, angutti kissi ki, aur sagaai kissi aur ki. Jati bua says, that is right, that is what happens. Veeraj is like what, I did not quite understand. Nutan says, that Jati bua has the habit of joking, don't mind her. Jati bua says, yeah, sister-in-law is right.
